According to the dirt sheets the other montage is for HBK and HHH to return as evil DX to end Takers Mania streak. Apparently it will be HHH v Taker with HBK as special referee. I hope since HHH is a booker now he doesn't do the arrogant Kevin Sullivan thing and book himself to win. Taker's mania streak should remain undefeated.
Well apparently he's after Cena, thank god! - Hopefully that will start a feud leading to the next significant PPV, dust off the old King of The Ring maybe? ;)
Sting?, well that would be interesting but I'd be impressed to see it eventuate. :)
Ooh! - That's a sick angle!
The best WM, to me anyway, was WM17 and their match was easily equal best with The Rock vs. Steve Austin. :D
I too hope that doesn't happen, being I am a little biased due to me being the Biggest 'Creature of The Night' aka Taker fan! :p:D, as I too believe that Taker's WM record shouldn't ever be broken - It's a record that is easily one of the most historical ones in the entirety of the Pro-Wrestling business. ;)

I posted this on my facebook page. 3:10 best chairshot ever!:D
I got a huge shock when Rock said hes never gonna leave the wwe again!
The 'You cant see me' ribbing of cena was gold!
I wonder if the network had any grumbles after Rock used so many words that wwe are not using with their PG rating?
LOL! :D
That is indeed an awesome Chair Shot man and for a WCW 'Mexican Hardcore' match, it wasn't actually all too bad.:p
(That last Powerbomb onto the chairs looked stiff as hell!)
I remember one where Bubba-Ray hit Taker insanely hard and busted the chair in one shot over his head - Taker's head then immediately donned the 'Crimson Mask', this was back in the original Brothers of Destruction days.
I can't find the match specifically, but I did find this which brought back some fond memories. ;):D
Too Right! it was gold, :D:cool:
It's to my understanding that the USA Network decided to not censor the Rock in any way but in Canada it was courtesy of a time-delay. :)
It'd be interesting to find out whether Fox Sports over here censored it or not.
The Rock was censored over here unfortunately. But the you tube version isn't censored:D. I loved the bit with Michael Cole and the Raw GM's email. That was gold:D
I hope The Rock is telling the truth and he doesn't leave. He isn't the best wrestler (although the WM main event with Austin he had was awesome) but he is definitely the best entertainer.
Hulk Hogan has come out and panned The Rock saying that the WWE spent 5 years building up Cena and in 30 seconds The Rock had the crowd chanting "Cena Sucks". This coming from the guy who held everyone else down and refused to put anyone over. Also for years any male over the age of 13 who watches WWE has been sick of Cena being rammed down their throats. They've just been looking for someone else to cheer for. Now they have him:)
The first thing i thought as soon as he cut the promo was, what a good way to turn Cena heel. May even gain Cena a little more popularity when he makes the switch back to babyface in the future.
Im still gutted i havnt seen the Rumble, its the one ppv a year i purchase and i missed the weekend completly. Nash would have been a shock
Who would have thought that at his advanced age Hogan would know what an internet troll is and how to be one.
heh ... go away you hypocritical old man, your best days are well behind you and no matter how much he may believe in recycling, Vince Russo can't bring them back for you.
Rock v Cena next year at wrestlemania. Darn a lot can happen over the next 360 odd days!
LOL, this reminds me of the time, at the age of 5, that I lept off my best friends couch and dropped the elbow directly into his father's sternum. I winded the poor guy and I'm prertty sure I stepped on his face trying to stand back up.
This was the first time I discovered adults (unlike me) were not actually invulnerable. :D
LOL:D
Did anyone see Sin Cara debut on raw last night? If not check this out...

He lept from the floor and cleared the top rope.
Man he got some air there! Is that Mistico?
Macho Man Randy Savage passed away today in a car crash aged 58 - not as early as some in the industry but still before his time. Pretty Sad.
Here's the news.
----------------------
Famed US pro wrestler Randy Savage dies in crash

Sat, May 21, 2011
FLORIDA, USA - US professional wrestling great "Macho Man" Randy Savage died after a car crash on Friday near his home in Seminole, Florida, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The colorful former champion -- known for his husky voice, gaudy costumes and "oooh, yeah!" catch phrase -- appeared to have lost control of his 2009 Jeep Wrangler at 9:25 a.m. local time, crash investigators said.
He drove over a concrete median into oncoming traffic lanes before crashing head-on into a tree and later died of his injuries at a nearby hospital, a crash report said.
He was 58.
While some media outlets quoted his brother as saying the retired wrestler suffered a heart attack while driving, the Florida Highway Patrol said that could not be confirmed until an autopsy is performed.
The crash was not alcohol-related, authorities said.
The wrestler, whose legal name was Randy Poffo, and his wife, who was a passenger in the car, were both wearing seat belts. His wife was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Once a minor league baseball player, Savage rose to fame as "Macho Man" in the 1980s in the World Wrestling Federation, now known as the WWE (WWE.N). He was considered a charismatic and athletic performer in the choreographed world of professional wrestling and he held numerous championships.
He was "an iconic figure," said hall of fame professional wrestler Dusty "The American Dream" Rhodes on Friday.
Under contract with the World Wrestling Federation from 1985 to 1993, he competed against fellow stars including Hulk Hogan, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Jake "The Snake" Roberts. He later was a star in the World Wrestling Federation's now-defunct competitor World Championship Wrestling.
His entrance music was "Pomp and Circumstance" and his signature accessories were sunglasses, bandannas and colorful cowboy hats.
His father Angelo Poffo and brother "Leaping" Lanny Poffo also wrestled professionally.
"WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time," read a statement posted on the WWE site on Friday. "Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends."
Savage in recent years lent his voice to characters in animated movies and TV shows.
RIP The Macho Man OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a shame about Savage. I still think his match against Ricky Steamboat at wrestlemania 3 is one of the best ever.
A dedication to the late Macho Man. One of the best matches ever.

Figured I can add to this thread somewhat.
Was watching Charmed last night with the missus, one of the episodes had Buff Bagwell, Booker T and Scott Steiner. Scott's name in the show made me laugh though, was Mega Man :p
The original screwjob.

Moolah was 61 in that match:eek: I think she's doing alright for a bird her age.
Apparently Richter not only left the arena but also caught a flight out of New York still in her wrestling gear she was that pissed off. She didn't speak to Vince McMahon until she was asked to be inducted into the hall of fame this year. Long time to hold a grudge.
I agree, I remember her in the late 90s/early 00s still being able to take a bump which was truly impressive - She doesn't look any younger though in that clip. :p
Holy crap, really? :confused:Quote:

So what exactly qualifies her to be in the Hall of Fame then? - They must be running out of Actual Female Wrestlers to induct. :p
Wendy Richter was bigger than Hogan in her prime (1984-1985).
You guys must be too young to remember that far back. :P
No I remember Wendi Richter in her prime but like now I've never been a fan of female wrestling. I was a fan of the mass of tag teams in the early-mid 80's in the WWF. Brittish Bulldogs and U.S Express were particular favourites.
Naturally I didn't like The Dream Team:p
I was born in 85. :p
I started watching wrestling in the early 90s and damn got into it after King of The Ring '96. ;)
After the few years of being on these boards, I've noticed no thread on WWE or wrestling in general? C'mon guys, I can't be the only one. Don't be embarrassed to admit that you follow! ;) :p
I was at Wrestlemania XXX in New Orleans this year. Awesome experience!
Pfft. They threw Taker's legacy out the door by getting him to job to that kumquat , Lesner.
Still not clear who's decision it was to end the streak though. Not sure if Taker's or Vince...?
is jericho back? he's the only reason for me to watch wrestling. I love that he brought back his lion tamer near the end of his last run.
There are hints of Jericho's return but it will only be to further push talent. Not for any kind if title run I don't imagine.
As for taker's streak - if you happened to watch WM XXX, the reaction of the crowd on TV does not nearly reflect the reaction of the crowd in the stadium that night. Hearing 3/4 of the crowd in the arena turn silent and the amount of jaws you could just about hear dropping to the ground was surreal.
Still. As much as I like Lesnar, pushing Lesnar by giving up the streak doesn't make any sense and would be poor judgement on Vince's part if what you say/think is true. There are talks of taker actually wanting Lesnar to be the one to end the streak. If that's true, then who is anyone else to argue?
