I always pre-order in-store, and don't pay anything up-front... that way, if the item doesn't end up showing up, they don't have to then go through the hassle of a part-refund to the order.
It also allows me to cancel an item if I find it somewhere else first or for less, without risking any money up-front.
(I also like to be able to stall on payment, so that I don't have to pre-pay a lot of money for items that I won't see for months later... which is one of the reasons I like using Amazon as well.)

Oh boy, an email from Amazon telling me that delivery of Legacy Breakdown has been delayed to until the 16th, surely the first of several similar missives

edit: There we go, one for LegEvo Grimlock and one for a Gi Joe Classified figure which were both previously due on the 2nd, now delayed until the 16th as well. Guess I'm gonna wake up to a dozen of these

Hasbro Aus has royally f**ked up the distribution of Breakdown, which is insane given it's part of a combiner team.

I won't be bothering with their next combiner now. Just stupid.
