The only trouble I've heard of people having is damage to the outer boxes of large toys from minimal packaging. I think it was someone on these boards that had their MP-9 Rodimus box badly damaged.

This may shock you but if I was going to buy one I already made my mind up that I was going to open it basically for the same reason you outlined (re: $400-odd for a weighted box). People naturally assume that if someone keeps things MISB they do so for the resale value; not so in my case.Quote:

The flip-side to all of this is that if I am undecided on buying something so expensive, I probably shouldn't. I suppose I could always sell it off at a later stage if I ever did change my mind...
