I think they are just working through them. I'm in NSW, paid via CC last night around 5:30pm and haven't received a shipping note yet.

Bought last night

I was just posting in the other Soundwave topic, the reason why some are getting theirs posted out, and others are not getting theirs yet... or not able to order at all.

A couple of us have been told identical stories from TRU people running different stores - the online orders are not coming from their central warehouse (which would be easier to keep track of stock, and only sell units if they know they still have some)... the orders get paid and then emailed to your nearest store.
If that nearest store doesn't yet have stock (like in WA), the online site doesn't seem to allow the sale to begin with (because there isn't any point if they don't yet have any to send out).
But if your nearest store did get stock but are already sold out, the order is then emailed to the next nearest store... and so on, until it gets to one that still has it in stock. (or I am assuming it is cancelled/refunded if it gets to a point of being out of stock in all stores in your area/state or country)

As such, it is a very complicated system, that will be plagued with errors, lost orders and unfulfilled orders... leading to a lot of unhappy customers (who think they have bought a figure, only to find out later that it is no longer in stock).
All so they can offer cheap shipping, as it would be coming from nearby instead of all from their Sydney warehouse.


All I can suggest is, keep trying their site for ordering one, as unsold units may surface from stores that are less popular... as well trying to reserve one (ring up) at a store that hasn't yet got theirs, or at least, haven't sold out.
And if you end up with two, I'm sure there are some people here that would be willing to buy it from you.
(at least, that's what I was planning - the online order was my backup, and now that I have the one from the store that I reserved, if the online order ends up coming through, I will pass it onto someone nearby who still wants one)

Now it makes sense. Well, I have one from the store and possibly one coming in the mail, so can pass that on to someone from the boards if they miss out. I'll let everyone know if the online one comes through.

I also paid for mine yesterday before link was posted up here, still don't have my dispatched email yet.:( I'm also from Melbourne CBD.

Well that sucks. I wish I didn't know about the online order link then. I would have tried picking it up at my local store. I just called and they sold out today. I would have called first thing in the morning if I hadn't ordered online. My order sounds like its doing the rounds and won't get fulfilled.
