Hi guys, speaking of Lego Castle the last time, I really want 7094 King's Castle Siege and the only one I found was on ebay from Hongkong, AUD$139 + $40 postage. Is this way over priced? Is there anywhere else I can find it?
And I kinda regret not getting the Troll Warship from the offer at Kmart for $69 the last time. I went back on Wed and they were removed from the shelves already. :(
It's listed on the Lego website at $149. Shipping there I think is maxed out at around $35 no matter how much you order so if you waited till you wanted a few things that might be a cheaper option. Of course you could always try and sweet talk me into selling my MISB one at a good price.
I don't think I would but I have found it never hurts to try.
Just found a bucketload of Mars Mission and some Exo-Force for good prices at my Toy Kingdom Clearance shop.

Minifig scaled. You know it's big.
When I was a kid, I dreamed of building stuff like that Battleship.
That's a mighty impressive ship in size.
Check out this transforming mech. Awesome! Especially for its smallish size:

Awesome Battleship MV75. Reminds me of this aircraft carrier, also to scale.
Love that mech too Stompy.

Super Awesome! Pretty much the same scale/size as the Speed Racer vehicles.
Finally stated to make my Cool Convertable today and .. gah, a missing piece.
Made do to complete the model and damn it is one seriously nice Lego piece. The way the top converts is just magic.
3 weeks is a long wait for one small part, but it was so easy and no questions asked.
Started on my NXT robotics kit finally.
Made the first model from the Quick Start box and installed the requisite software onto my pc but cbf going to buy the 6 AA batteries I need.
Looks like it's gunna be heaps of fun.
Would anyone be interested in going to the Australian 2009 Brickvention.
It is going to be at Victoria Uni in Melbourne's CBD over the Australia Day weekend.
Also
EuroBricks has just posted a whole bunch of high quality 2009 pictures
Bionicle
City
Indiana Jones
Pirates
Power Miners
Spongebob Squarepants
Star Wars
Love the city ones.
I probably wouldn't get some of those construction ones though, the ones that look like they were translated over from their technic brethern. Same as the combine harvester.
That minifig set looks ace though. I'm sure Leige will buy a few of those to add to his city. :)
Another Krusty Krab?
Looks similar (in that it is not a full KK, only a wall or two) but the Vehicle looks good.
However the Pineapple House will have to bought, squidwards new head looks good, and the gf really needs a Gary figure.
Oh definitely! 100%
No lamb on the barbie for me, I'll be there!
EDIT: Just checked those SW 2009 images. Some look great. Interesting they're re-releasing Vader's Tie in a different colour scheme.
The mini sets are great for anybody wanting to do a scale battle scene.
Heh, I never even bothered to look at the starwars ones until I saw you mention darth vaders tie fighter there Mr Digger. :)
So I had a look, looks good, and I like the mini snow speeder and the mini tie fighter. The rest is as I expected though, weird and stupid looking clone wars crap. :D
The Indy temple of doom car chase set looks freaking sweet. :)
The pirates are just full of win.
Powerminers..... meh..... exoforce meets mars mission I guess. Not to my interest on a whole, but if I was interested in fantasy rock mining adventures, they look good enough.
I don't actually mind the look of this one:

I think it would make a good buggy if you ditched the 2 long arms and the scoop at the front, although it's still alright with them.
I'm hanging to see what they have lined up for space next year - I remember reading it was Galactic Patrol which to me brings back memories of Space Police. The new Pirates look rather sweet, might have to break the mold and start on them now that I've pretty much finished Space, Exo-Force and Agents.
Totally there. I saw thsi the other day and was going to post it here. Any other interests? JD? Mel? Stompy?
Not for me. I think all of the Power Miners stuff likes pretty fugly. The only thing they might be good for is parts to make a Lego Springer.
The SWs stuff is very meh. Like Fungal, I'd look forward to space. I really think the second year of Mars Mission has been great. All of them have been very good. Pirates is a get for sure too. The City looks like it'll be my sister's cup of tea.
I'm in for the event!
The Power Miners look better in these new pics. I might pick up one or two. Although am still not too keen on it. Really just want a few of the minifigs.
If this is the first sign of an Auton invasion then Lego fans be warned! :p

From that same guy with the Neo-Classic space sets.
Very impressive
I don't know if this will impress as much, but back in the day I used to think it was pretty cool, its basically transformers made with lego, but he's made heaps of different ones, mostly his own designs. He has a story line and everything, might be worth a look at, he stopped updating a fair while ago now though.
Legobot Headquarters
Does anyone know if #6167 (deluxe brick box) has been released locally?
I've seen the smaller 'large' one around, but not the big one.
It comes in a blue tub, if that helps.
Given the release of Pirates next year, I'm excited about the prospect of this possibly being re-released too. A great favourite of mine. I remember show and tell in the mid 90s and me showing off my new TFs while another kid showed off his pirate stuff. Would love this.
I used to have this. It was a nice ship, but I always wanted the big Skull's Eye Schooner
Oh dang according to Brickset, 2009 Pirate sets have been spotted in retail over in the states!
Two awesome discoveries courtesy of The Brothers Brick:
Matrix Hovercraft
The Rusty Ferret
Does anyone have 8275 (motorised bulldozer)?
I've just built the excavator (8294) and found it is a fun model, all the better made having purchased it at a sale price.
I'm starting to get a technic itch for all the construction models.
Was wondering what people had to say, since the thing costs soo much.
