I think it is supposed to, but I haven't tested it yet. The neighbour's kids have been playing with them though, so they've had a good work-out.
Wish I was 8 again so I could join in... :p

Got my MOTUC Optikk from Matty this morning. Wow, that was fast! I only ordered him (and Walter Peck and Two-Face) last week... with normal postage!
I can't believe how quickly they were shipped and arrived. This is more like it - I got tired of them arriving 4-5 weeks after I ordered them.
Picked up today - Ssssqueeze, Sorceress, and a replacement Dragstor (old one had a broken leg).
And tonight, my King Hiss snapped his groin band, so now need a new figure or try fix the rubber band. :(
That'll do me until after BotCon. Then I'll be hunting down the 29 figures left on my checklist.
If anyone wants my broken Dragstor (free) let me know. If you live in Sydney(Aug), Melb(Apr), Adelaide(maybe) or Perth(oct/jan) I can bring it with me in the next 6-8 months (tentatively). Brisbane too of course.
Postage to be paid by you for anywhere else or if you want it straightaway.
The toy is complete with both accessories (the rip-cord has a bent, stress mark), and has the entire leg piece, so could probably be glued back together (the groin part that holds the leg is the actual broken bit - this isn't a MOTU toy with an internal rubber band).
My Optikk, Merman and Tytus arrived yesterday. I hope slow postage continues to be this quick :)
And now we have a whole new section for Mattel here on ozformers :)
Optikk is great... but I'm sure you know that now already :p
Seriously, I'm so impressed with this line - just when I think a figure is gonna be 'Meh'... it's totally awesome for one reason or another. I absolutely love Optikk!
And yeah - I'm still interested in the Map if you have a spare. :)
+1 about the quick "slow" postage!
And I agree - I'm happy about the new Mattel section here too... although there are still a few toy lines that aren't in this section (DCUC and the new Terminator 2 figures are also made by Mattel for example). But overall, it's cool!
With the ongoing MOTU collectables, I was hoping people getting them here would be more willing to post up news or reviews if they had their own section.
As for T2 - the existing topic has toys by 'Neca'. Is that a division of Mattel?
If there are new toys by Mattel, then they'd need to be in a new Mattel topic in here.
Whoops... sorry, I meant Avatar (the other James Cameron movie :D). That's my bad - I had Terminator 2 on the brain this morning (because of the new figure photos) but I meant to write Avatar!
You're right though - T2 is Neca! And thanks for bring the DC stuff over here!
Another successful evening of online ordering :)
You mean morning! ;)
Yeah, I got my stuff in 3 minutes! Lots of people on the Org must've missed out, cos they are p!ssed! (Again) That site is crashing something shocking... everybody in the world must be trying to post on that site right now :p Even the Matty site is easier to log on to...
Higher production numbers didn't count for too much - She-Ra still sold out in like 15 minutes.
I decided to finally camp out, all because I want She-Ra. I didn't care for the last few releases, but I was adamant to get her!
So happy right now...
I am a shift worker so I am still up at that time so it is still evening for me :D
There has been nothing but hate on the .org all week. Pretty much since Chief Carnivus was revealed as the September figure.
But I do feel for those that missed out, I only ever had it the once for Trap Jaw. All that will be fixed for me next year, All-in Sub!

This is Chief Carnivus. He was in the MYP MOTU 200x cartoon
That is the best way to put it :)
Are you not getting the sub?
I am almost a shill because I think the All-in sub is an awesome idea. I don't care what figures I get in this line. I want them all.
MOTUC is my Pokemon, Gotta Catch 'em All
Unofficial MOTUC Throne of Bones and Viewing Table
Griffin had previously asked for this thread to feature pictures, reviews, etc. of MOTU so I thought I would take him up on it. This is my first ever review on anything so it is not going to be in great depth and detail as I don't want to bore everyone
I have been collecting the Masters of the Universe Classics line for about a year now. Since that time I have managed to acquire every figure released and I now have a 'so far' full collection of Loose and MOC figures.
For anyone who has been intrigued by the line they should really give it a shot. I cannot recommend them enough. That is if you can manage to purchase the figure in the very narrow 30 minute (or less) window that they are actually available for on the 16th (early morning our time) of every month from mattycollector.com
Instead of doing my first review on one of the figures, I have decided to review a couple of unofficial custom MOTUC accessories that I picked up on ebay a few months ago.
Viewing Table
http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...P1010484-1.jpg
This table is loosely based on the classic Filmation MOTU animated series. Considering it is a custom, it is really well done. The table has been made out of plastic is very light weight but it is still quite solid. The colours look fantastic and the paint application on the table itself has been done to give it a weathered look.
The dome has been painted with a red over black plastic. The paint application on this is somewhat streaky. I am not sure if that was just poor paint app of if it was done purposely to give the red dome a smoky look. If it was done on purpose it is a great addition.
Throne of Bones
http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...C/P1010485.jpg
This throne is also based on the classic Filmation series. It is also made out of the same plastic as the table and has the same weathered paint apps. The Throne of Bones is highly detailed and in my opinion looks way better than the Viewing Table. It looks mean and evil, especially with the horned skull which adorns the top of the throne. It also has a brown faux fur seat which really adds to the appeal.
http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...C/P1010486.jpg
The throne is selling for $28 and is way more value for money than the table which is selling for $35. I highly recommend the Throne of Bones if you have a Skeletor and want to display him a different way. But if you want the full effect of a Skeletor throne room then you also need to get the Viewing Table.
Both items are available from the same seller so postage can be combined. They are shipped with cardboard support so there is no damage to the pieces. The seller is thetoyshack

I hope I didn't bore you all too much. I will add more reviews of actual MOTUC product in the future (unless no one wants me to continue the reviews :) )
That's a fantastic shot. Skeletor looks like he's just chillin in his throne... :D
motu and pop stand for?
I missed out on tytus last month, if anyone has a spare i'd be keen to grab one.
thanks!
My sub She-Ra arrived today. Considering they used to take over 4 weeks to get here I am very happy with getting them so quick now
Keldor, She-Ra and Peter Venkman arrived today. I love this new faster slow postage :)
Got She-Ra and reissue Faker today.
Was reasonably impressed with She-Ra... If I wasn't getting Faker I probably wouldn't have bothered, but she is quite iconic looking. Probably helps that mine had no real qc issues.
Faker had a loose right ankle... Lucky that my previous Faker came with 2 right feet! Now Partsman (name stolen from He-Man.org) has 2 right feet and one of them is floppy.

My She-Ra arrived the other day too... beautiful figure, but DAMN!!! - that second head is so hard to get on. I was terrified I was gonna snap the neck peg!
I gave it a half-hearted attempt, but in the end I didn't even bother. I like the 'vintage' head anyway, and unless I put it in hot water, I don't think it's coming off. Plus there's a huge scratch across her 'Filmation' hair from the way it was put in the plastic. For a 'collectors' toyline, the packaging is so badly designed - they damage the toys putting them in there and we have to try to avoid hurting them even more on the way out.
Agreed! The inside packaging should be a whole lot better. Even She-Ra's sword handle (based on how she was holding it packed) is a little warped on mine.
I finally got She-Ra's filmation head on (which I personally prefer) by heating it up on the inside with a hair dryer. It worked perfectly and the peg slipped straight in with no fuss.
Got Wun-Dar in the mail today. It's starting to shape up my He-Man army nicely...

Cool!
Is anyone getting Marzo (apart from those with Subs)? I'm undecided myself... The last time I was undecided was with Tytus (and I didn't end up getting him). Just not sure if I can be bothered, as I'm more of a Vintage figure fan myself (the original toys and comics).
Luckily I have the weapons pack yellow armour coming for beastman... because Savage Faker isn't about to give his armour up in a hurry!

Got the SDCC Skeletor vs Mo-larr pack today :D
you go speedy post?
