An update uninstalled my sound driver:eek: but I managed to get it reinstalled, despite being a hopeless Luddite! YES!:D
I'm actually happy that TFs are coming in slow in Australia at the moment, good to take a break from being broke from always buying TFs! lol
Just discovered a big group of nerds in my little town through facebook. UNIT or Ulladulla Nerds Infinity Trust has 70 members some people I've known for years are really into their sci fi and stuff. Now we are planning movie nights and everything:D I am not alone in this little town.
Dude, get Ableton Live and practise making dubstep via youtube tutorials! :D All the best with the recovery, I know how mind numbingly boring/frustrating it is being sick/injured but hang in there, she'll be roight. :) Getting a 3DS?
Haha, that's awesome. I have fond memories of the old 'dulla, we used to go there for family holidays when I was knee high to a Minicon. Good times. :)
I know it's kind of gloating, but,
I'VE GOT TICKETS TO BOTCON AND I MANAGED TO GET A SEAT AT THE CUSTOM CLASS!!!!!
so tottaly stoked and excited.
Might as well throw out my lottery ticket, I've used all my luck up today. for at least the next couple months.
Good stuff mate, some peoples youtube tutorials I highly recommend:
-Dubspot
-TheSoundTutor
-Tom Cosm
Reason is as good a DAW as any, although I recommend at least trying the Ableton Live Suite 8 demo to see if it better suits your workflow. I've used Ableton for a few weeks now and it's one of the most intuitive software package I've ever used, it's brilliant!
That's it - My last day at work today. I am now ready to move onto bigger and better things in my new position.
What a ride.
I got my replacement iphone4 today:)
Managed to pick up PCC Heavytread and groundspike from Woolies today bringing my collection count up to 500.
The milestone has been reached, where to from here?
UP even mooore!:D Congrats.
I just preordered Figma Strength and while I was there, I saw another figure I wanted for pre-order, so I clicked, but it was already out of stock. Sheesh, it must have just gone up today as well.
Feeling sorry for myself, I bookmarked the page and did some other browsing, so come back and its open for preorder! YAY!:D
Im joyful that other people have experienced joy :)
I just counted my TF collection. 205.
So in the last 3 years I have bought 205 TF. I don't know whether I should be happy that I have that many already or sad that so much money was spent on TFs!!!
Because I started collecting later I wanted to buy toys from all the previous lines, once I have all of those past toys it's gonna be so much easier just buying current toys.:D:D
Just found out I have the Saturday off over the Easter long weekend...Creamfields here I come :D
Don't you love it when your TF wanted list that consists of older toys is getting smaller and smaller? I'm so close! :)
Oh man, I wish that was the case - Stupid Classicsverse, taking all my G1 money! :p
That's awesome man, glad you've been able to experience a little bit of fun at last. ;):)
(Even though I've no idea of who you guys are talking about :p)
Yesterday was My Wife and I's (that just sounds wierd) second wedding Anniversary. :D
One of many many more to come. The best part is this year it wasn't on easter weekend.
I just applied for a job that I would have never even tried for. It has little to do with either of my uni degrees, but the confidence I feel I have when job hunting now has changed my prospects somewhat!
Amazing what a piece of paper (and years of long hard study) can do.
Here's hoping I get it
= more transformers:D
After sweating it big time over the past few days, had my USA tourist visa interview today and got it approved! Woot! USA here I come!
Why do you need US tourist visa? Are you not aussie citizen yet?
my knee doesnt hurt... well not like it used to... yay for modern medicine and the goo the injected into my joint...
what's the goo? :) how much does it cost?
its caled Synvisc, and its about 400 bux an injection, it is an artificial material similar to the fluid inside the cartlidge which since i have no cartlidge it coats the bones and protects them as well as reducuing the pain from arthitis and the various other damage i have down there, it is also used alot in elderly Arthirtis sufferers
its a test as i am one of the first in the country/world to try it with the amount of damage and ACL Reco graft in the knee
should last about 10-12 months in theory and will reduce the amount of surgery needed.
Is that covered by medicare? Is $400 your share already?
