I just got a shipping notification on G2 Superion and Menasor so they are on their way.
Just a thought Re: Maketoys, I think they're one of the brands that tries to enforce their rrp across the board for retailers so they may not have wanted PC's low cost approach. Just speculating.
Regarding that, let me first say hello and that I would like to make an inquiry regarding this matter on behalf of Maketoys.
Does anyone know anything about PremiumCollectibles, who runs the site and so on? would anyone say they seem like a shady or suspicious service at all?
Because dramatically undercutting the rrp of an expensive product strikes me as odd.. and a little suspect. I've been buying Maketoys products for many years now and I happily pay their full prices because they literally make the best transformers on the market which are worth every single cent they sell for and then some.
Currently Pandinus is 390-400US (around 512 aus right now) rrp form basically every other seller on the market besides PC, as was the price of their previous citybot Utopia (which I own, and is still my favorite figure). This is a completely normal and standard for this product line.
So while this is merely speculation, I have to wonder if PC is getting their Pandinus' from a reputable source approved by Maketoys, the vastly undercut price seems to indicate this is to be in question.
If anyone can provide any further information regarding this could you please send me a private message, thankyou.
Your a private collector that is inquiring on behalf of Maketoys and only want information via PMs?
That seems more suspicious and shady than the question your asking, why don't you reach out to the seller directly? As most of the information are on their site and they have a public contact us email
This is not really an appropriate way to go about evaluating a dealer who does a lot of business here, especially wanting to do it privately/secretly... especially when there is a lengthy feedback topic to read through to get an objective impression than just one person's subjective opinions.
If you have questions about their supply or pricing policies, ask them... as they would be the only ones who would know - anyone else would not be able to give trustworthy details. If the business doesn't want to answer your questions, then there is nothing else you can do to find out.
If you don't trust them, don't use them. If they prove to be unreliable, it would surface in the feedback topic, and people here would be publicly discouraging their usage (like they have done about other dealers in the past).
