I predominantly get domestic light/medium aircraft flying over head, although I'm also fortunate enough to have historical aircraft (Old war-birds & Connie :D) too, so it'd certainly be awesome to have fighter jets passing over regularly - You blokes are lucky! ;):cool:Quote:

we have an old WWII mustang that comes over from time to time and it's a beautiful sleek looking machine. we only live a km or 2 away from the RAAF base and we get to see other countries jet fighters fly over and only the other month we had the marines with their VTOL planes fly no more then 50ft over our roof. there was a whole squadron of them and the sight and sound was awesome.
Nice! :D - Where I live is right under the flight path for a runway at Albion Park Regional Airport, of whom also houses the "Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc." - and much like yourself, they fly at under 1000ft on approach & whilst sadly we don't get squadrons (Apart from the "Seen 'em once, seen them every time" Roulettes :rolleyes::p), having this lovely old bird fly at what feels like only a stone's throw over head is truly an experience. ;):cool:Quote:
