fyi those toys are Road Rage and Crosscut. Have you opened them yet? Because Crosscut is not a repaint of Skids but a different mould! :)

Skids is a Honda City Turbo whereas Crosscut is a Honda City R. They have different heads and chests and Crosscut also comes with Clutch (Skids doesn't have a scooter-drone). Interestingly enough, Skids' original instruction booklet shows a picture of 'Crosscut' and Skids was drawn with 'Crosscut's' head a few times in the G1 comics, so some fans speculate that the Honda City R Diaclone toy might've been originally intended for Skids but Hasbro later changed their minds and went with the Honda City Turbo figure instead.

City Commander has to be one of the most well designed add-ons I've ever come across. Fansproject are the bomb in my books. Now deciding whether to invest in Nemesis Commander.....

red chromes yes and prime is sort of transparent blue

I've had that on one occasion - two pieces of folded newspaper for a fully assembled loose G1 Thrust from USA. It was rattling around in the box before I opened it. Luckily nothing broke, but the seller never communicated with me again even though I started a problem report through ebay.

Picked up that G1 collectors guide thats getting around on Ebay at the moment. Its secondhand but easily as good as new (been looked after). And i scored it for $21.50 including postage.

NIce one Vector Sigma13! Its around $40-50 mark in retail at Borders. So thats really a bargain! :D

Thats the worst that can happen, especially decepticon jets, with all their pointy bits etc, their bound to cause damage/dents to the windows...

This time around, no windows was damaged, two boxes were CRUSHED and some boxes had slits/cuts, he placed the mib jetfire and megatron at the TOP, the combined weight of these (fairly heavy) plus rolled up newspapers placed ALOT of pressure on the autobot cars and dinobot boxes which were at the bottom. I have been trying to fix the crushed/deformed boxes by putting dvds cartridges inside to form a temporary stable mould to get it back to its original shape and remove the dents...

The second crap packaging experience I've had, is when my MIB hardhead got shipped in a shoebox from england. I told the seller his an idiot and should give me a partial refund for such idiocy especially when I even accepted to cover his paypal fees, he said I was a lying prick.

On one hand it looks like they've taken the effort to relocate the Astromech droid to the centre of the fighter, making it more accurate to Anakin's Azure Angel, but on the other hand the colours are completely wrong. This toy sports the colours of Anakin's Eta-2 class Starfighter whereas the Azure Angel sports colours resembling Anakin's childhood Pod Racer. The droid is painted like Artoo-Detoo which is incorrect - the Azure Angel's Astromech droid was Ar-Four Gee-Four The toy is also missing a pair of built-in hyperdrive thrusters which negates the need for the hyperdrive ring that the toy does come with (Anakin modified his Delta-7 so that it can jump into hyperspace without having to use a Hyperspace Ring).

Had this toy been a straight repaint of the Saesee Tiin & Obi-Wan Delta-7 TFs (w/ new head) it could be chalked off as just a lazy repaint... but the relocation of the Astromech droid clearly shows that there was some intent to retool this toy as the Azure Angel... yet that effort is negated by the lack of hyperdrive thrusters so it's not as if you could repaint this toy yourself to make it more accurate. Yeah, I'll pass this one. :/

There are different estimates-the author mentions that prices are only a guide as the market for these figures can change according popularity etc.

I do like the book, but saying that it has a lot of info that can be easily found on the net.
