it sucks i tell you on average i have had a procedure/operation done every 11 months for my knee.. some days i just wish he would replace it but the surgeon insists i am to young for that.
work truly is a hazard to your health and lifestyle.

I got me a Venus Fly Trap! OM NOM NOM!:D
Yeah a work mate has the same problem......35 years old and needs a knee replacement but is deemed too young because you apparently can only have two replacements in a lifetime and they want to wait till he is older. I am lucky that compared to his, my ACL reconstruction is minor but I might need a cartilage graft later on.
what requires a knee replacement versus knee reconstruction?
I just got the call to say I have a new Job!!
second job out of Uni, a bit scary but it should be challenging and interesting and I will be finally getting a pay rise after 3 years of not even CPI.
^^Congrats! In my home country, you'll treat your mates when you get a new job or pay raise :D
Two of my sons - in year 1 and 3 - got honour certificates at their end of term assembly today.
We knew the elder one was going to get one because we got a note inviting us to attend, but the Year 1 award came out of the blue for everyone.
I have a container with several examples from 2 varieties. They are incredibly easy to grow. Just leave them in a terrarium type enclosure with plenty of water and sphagnum moss and they take care of themselves. You don't even need to feed them either. Bright light is good but not direct sunlight. Anywhere that sells plants should have some, I've even seen them at Kmart.

Time HD, time will tell as the skills and abilities that you and your wife share between you have already sought the completion of your collection - Now you just have to ride the wave of time to that moment. ;):)
A fair bit late, but congratulations none the less dude and here's to many more on the horizon. ;):D
Fingers crossed for you dude, I hope you have more luck than I have. :)
My brother has just recently acquired his Passport for the same reasons, congrats dude. :)
Hazaa!
Congrats dude, I certainly hope it's one you enjoy.
Really? - That's awesome Snakey! :D
I remember when I used to impress my parents with such things, something went wrong when I hit puberty though... :o
Ah!
Cheers Gamblor, I've never noticed them in Kmart before so I'll definitely have to check them out as well as my local Nurseries as we have a few - Much like Cacti, I do like a plant that more or less cares for itself. :D
Always an awesome feeling Blackie, good on ya.
I got mine from Bunnings for $6, it's not in a terrarium but it's doing OK aside from some blackened leaves (apparently a sign of stress).
The only thing to add to gamblor is don't water it with tap water, pick some distilled water from Coles/Woolworths (roughly $2) when you grab some peat moss (about $5) 'cos they don't like chlorine etc.
This link has done alright for me so far re. info.
Anyways, today's victory is finding some new shoes, from $80 to $40. And realising I had a whole bunch of awesome stuff stored at my sister's place, which I've now reappropriated.
Cheers Odey,
Gamblor very kindly gave me a pair of potted specimens on Sunday and I have since purchased 4 litres of Distilled Water for them, now I've just got to get to the shops to grab a terrarium as the spot I originally intended to put them isn't as suited as I thought it would be. :o
I just wish this cold I've got would bugger off so that I could get down there sooner as they are already starting to show signs of stress with blackness encroaching a couple of the 'mouths'. :(
Whee, I just finished Shadow of the Colossus.
man it was awesome! Felling pretty chuffed about it too :D
I achieved what I thought would be impossible, run for 6.5km in 1 session. And I feel GOOD!!!
I'm now on long service leave for three months! :)
What sort of shoes do u wear? Im trying to increase my walking but my feet always hurt.
I went from Galleria up to mt lawly and back so how ever long that is:rolleyes::confused:
Well done on the walking dude as that will get your heart going quite well but an even bigger congratulations on your quitting of Smoking! :D
Once one gets past the cravings, it really does get easier and easier and your right about feeling better - Less coughing, less laboured breathing and a feeling of more energy!
Keep up your strong efforts dude, every day is a step in a better direction. ;)
Thanks guys :) Today is my 2 week anniversary and no cravings to speak of. It's actually been easier than I imagined.
I ordered a pair of Adidas Supernova Glide 3. This site is great. Most of their deals are about half of what you'd expect to pay at retail.
I too found it to be quite easy once you're able to get passed the mental barrier, the physical addiction sucks for a bit but if you can get your mind to break free of the habit - The physical is a push over. ;)
Ah, yeah for me it was 9 years but I too am glad that I did quit. :)
A much better choice for the long run but i feel lucky honestly because I've met people who've been trying to quit over a 20 year period and never successfully manage to. :o
Finally paid off and cancelled the credit card! Now to start saving for a house deposit *gulp* :p
