i dont want to know what zones they're including, but i dont want to get my hopes too high by speculating about all my fave old levels being there

AHHH the suspense is killing me!!

the first 2 zone reveals made me happy (green hill and city escape)

other than that i'd like to see
Emerald coast or Windy valley from SA1
Egg Fleet/Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes
Crisis City from Sonic 2006 (as bad as that game was i liked crisis city)

but dont tell me if any of those are in or not!

(sorry, too much sugar and excitement for Sonic Generations)

and i agree with you guys, the demo is good but sonic does seem "heavy" like his jumps seem to be way too affected by gravity, still better than sonic 4 though

Very disappoint with the lack of Sonic 3 in the Generations Zone list. It's a main series game ffs!

Looks to me like there is one zone from each game, except they included Sonic3 and S&K in one. Thats a bit crap, especially since there were about 16 levels or something to choose from?

Still, hoping for sme more info.

When it comes to new games there's a bit of a generation gap for me. I haven't had much to do with video games for over ten years but I still buy Hyper magazine from time to time and check out the games shops just to see what's going on... It's cool to see some 90's games like sonic still going strong. I'm still a huge fan of the Mega Drive Sonic games and a lot of the other MD games as well. I still play them from time to time, half way through Sonic 2 at the moment...

Best not to get your hopes up with Sonic these days, a shell of his former self.

MK9 Has in game ads. What was interesting is that they were official anti drink driving ads from the SA Government! So the SA government is paying to advertise in a banned game!

LOL WHAAAAT? Now that I have finsihed DOTM, Better get my MK9 on! Are the ads on the MP levels or single player only. Woo better check it out..


Heads up folks, only 1 more day left on the Sonic Generations Demo. It stops on June 13 at 8.00am. Manged to play it at least once every day :D

I have found that while doing a ground roll, if you let go of the direction he deosn't unroll. If you hold the direction down, once he starts to lose some speed he unrolls to the run. Still needs to jump a bit highger and stick less to the ground.

Oh and a couple of times, he has pulled little jump-stunts (ala Sonic Adventure 2) when popping a couple of bad guys in a row. For me it happens occasionally on the first bridge, I bust a fish, then another and he will do a little trick on the second. I have managed to get 3 off of one jump (so 2 tricks) but it doesn't always happen and I can't quite figure out what I am doing differently.

the only way to put the final nail in Sonics coffin is if he makes out with another human again in a game :P
