how many retro gamers are out there??? is it possible to answer a few questions..

whilst packing i managed to get together my old playstation stuff and have decided to sell it

now testing to see if it still works i have a time crisis G-con45 gun(and game) and this i cant seem to get it to work the gun still "fires" but it doesnt seem to pick up the aim and i am curious is it a possibility it doesnt work on plasma tv's??? (i dont have an older tv to test it)

also what would be the possible sale value on it

Light guns don't work on lcd or plasma sets, only crt sets (but not on a 100htz set)

Which really makes any owners of Time Crisis, Point Blank etc have games and controllers that are now unusable! I have kept an old 40cm CRT tv in my garage for the sole purpose of playing those games.

Such a shame as playing Time Crisis 2 and 3 on a massive 80cm+ screen would have been fantastic.

I'm very excited by some of the upcoming game releases, Batman Arkham city, the new Ratchet game, new Kirby games on Wii and DS and the new Mario Kart on 3DS... not to mention all the big christmas time releases...

I was wondering about that, I have kept my DC lightgun for the joys of House of The Dead. Haven't played it since I got my new TV though. I guess it will go into my retro game collection. Like my 6 pad game connector for my Saturn, I have NEVER had six friends around to use it... Heck, I only know of one game that would be worthwhile with it.
Oh well :p

Personally though, I love my pixels!! Busted out some C64 action the other day (playing the He-Man and Thundercats game, oh, so bad, so bad....) :D

1 hour later, beaten.

-Beaten the 3ds main story, I should say.

That's Star fox for ya, now do all the routes and get the medals!

Starfox 64 is short but i have logged plenty of hours on the original (so much that i'm not bothering with the 3DS version). High scores are really addicting.
But, if you start going for them, don't watch this video.
For ages i thought i must be in the upper echelon with my scores, until 15 bloody years later, i read there's a way to charge your shots without locking on, thus increasing score potential astronomically!

was so disappointed with dead island..

Finally, Minecraft 1.8.1 Beta is bloody-well working! :eek::rolleyes:
