I can see what you mean about the backpacks but honestly I don't think its a problem so I would hardly call it a weakness as the front windscreen and roof of the car have to go somewhere. Unfortunately the datsuns and lamborghinis aren't blocky like Optimus Prime and Soundwave which creates the design limitation.

Looks great but yeah, August is a long way off. :) :(
I expect to see a few MP seeker repaints to fill the time.

Did Wheeljack ever get a eHobby repaint or any other, besides the Diaclone red and white?

Nice to see the prototype pics, can't wait to see the coloured version. I'm going to try and avoid staring at it for too long and trying to work out how it works.

Now to see how they handle the paintwork. Alitalia bells & whistles or cartoon simplicity?

Anime Export have good prices and ship fast, however after my last ordeal with them I won't be using them again. They require payment upfront and that shipping date is more than six months away, so I'll wait for HLJ, Amiami or HobbySearch to open their orders.

I mostly get the masterpiece from the HK dealer as you get the extra and the coins as well ....with the Japan based one you don't get anything
