Wh is that dark and brooding Buticesque-type Tf at the back there?

Won MOTUC She-Ra off ebay. And under $50 bucks so I consider that a win.

Thanks to Sharky for the Slime Pit, Beastman and Whiplash.
Yeah that line was an awesome modernization of the 80s toy line and the cartoon got cancelled just as it was reaching new heights in it's lore.
I personally prefer the 200X line more than the new MOTU Classics like as I have never been to fond of the original toy stylization, even as a kid. However I do plan to get a few of the MOTUC characters such as King Grayskull which looks awesome.
has anyone got the robot chicken mo-larr vs skelator set?

General MOTUC question:
Can 200X figures hold MOTUC weapons? For example, can 200x Evil-Lyn hold her counterpart's MOTUC staff?
To me it looks like the same weapons. Like, Teela's shield, sword and Staff look Exactly like the 200x ones.
Today I received Version 1.0 of MOTU 200x Castle Grayskull mainly due to curiosity on the Action Chip gimmick.
I decided to put both Castle Grayskulls back to back (2.0 front, 1.0 back) and the result is very impressive!
The pics just don't do it justice as when I stepped back after assembling it, I was blown away and continue to amazed every time I walk back in the room.
The Castle looks solid and complete on all walls!

As you can see, the sides fit together very naturally as both pieces are supposed to join together when closing the single castle to form the back. Now they are forming the sides and it looks almost as if this is the way the castle should be displayed.
Also due to the differences between v1.0 and v2.0 of the Castles and some freedom to re-arrange parts, the inner sides are not exactly alike and can pass as different sections of the castle rather than mirrors.

This is my 200X collection to date:

Very nice collection you have there. I like your Evil-Lyn.
Nice pics guys :)
Man, I can't wait to get my new camera so I can post some pics here too!
Keep 'em coming guys - it's great to see everyone's collections...
My first MOTUC figure came today - Skeletor!! I definitely have the bug, having penciled in plenty of other releases to track down :)
And to top it off, 200x Battle Armor He-Man and Skeletor from Sharky!

200X Hordak is my favorite representation of the character. Despite his short appeareance, he was really menacing and evoked a lot of power. I like the new MOTU Classics too but prefer the evil look of this Staction better.
MOTUC Roboto arrived today. Very much the same as the 80s version only with an extra hand and no bouncing-up-and-down jaw and heart.
How'd you go quality wise? I'm afraid to get one after some of the horror stories going around!
Mine's great and pretty cool - joints are good; the cogs all work; weapons clip on and off nicely. Everyone's complaining about the shoulders being backwards, but it doesn't really make a difference. I had to boil a few pieces back into shape, but that's par for the course by now and no trouble. If I had to make a complaint it would be that it's so faithful that it doesn't really feel like I have a new toy, just a slightly more poseable vintage one. :)
Here are my acquisitions from the fair and the past week:
My first MOTUC figures! & Captain Randor

Hordak and The Evil Horde

Stactions

I can now finally conclude the duel between Captain Randor and Keldor with the correct figure!

Th paint jobs on those stactions is simply amazing, specially on the Snake men and Leech. A real shame that Mattel "retired" the style. Grizzor and his fur are freaking awesome! He looks cute at the same time as menacing! packed with weapons too.
A fairly spontaneous loot:

Damn, how'd you get those so quick!
My name is kup and I am a motuholic...
Yeah I am feeling a bit guilty because I have spend so much on toys in a short amount of time but I couldn't pass this up!
A local guy at He-Man.org offered this bunch at $26ea and I knew that I couldn't say no :( I picked them up today during lunch time. He had several others for sale but I held back as I was already feeling guilty from Sunday.
Anyway my next money cycle is coming along and although It will still allow for a bit of toy funds (I have another bargain lined up), I should take it easy.
Which user might that have been? You got a steal!
He-Ro only cost me $20 so I have been very lucky. I seem to have this curse/ability to find this bargains. Much of my TF collection are similar crazy bargains too.
the name is matty590 but that is not really the guy, he was posting using a friend's account to sell his figures.
I am eagerly awaiting MOTUC He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, Beastman, Teela and Evil-Lyn. all for a reasonable price. Just wish they'd get here already!!
I have several figures lined up too and I can't wait!
I also have a General Rattlor due anytime so I am hyped on that one as I think Snakemen are awesome!
I just need a Squeezzee and Kobra Khan and I finish my Snakemen army.
I have been debating if I should get the coming MOTUC King Hiss (or Hsss if they are calling him that). I have doubts because they have made him so vintage toy accurate that he looks more like a grunt than a King. I really hope that they include an extra 200x head for him, that would be an install buy for me.
I love 200X General Rattlor! King Hsss is visually impressive but kind of annoying as the action feature compromises Articulation, But The General has great articulation and a great action feature. He and Cobra Khan have moving mouths that really add to the awesomeness of the figures while still being great tributes to the vintage toys.
And still no love on the MOTUC front at my house. Don't UPS know She-Ra is lonely and misses her brother!? Don't they!?
EDIT!! The toy gods must have heard my plea as my MOTUC toys were waiting for me when I got home from bill paying and grocery shopping.
I was prepared for the worst reading QC issues on He-Man.org but aside from a few paint spots they're perfect, Teela's heads swap out with no trouble at all.
These are great toys! All the colour and fun of the originals but with amazing sculpting and articulation. I'm giddy with nostalgia. Or possibly plastic fumes.
Yay!
King Grayskull & Weapons pack just rocked up!!
These arrived today!
200X Tri-Klops and General Rattlor
http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/motu011210.JPG
I think I like this Tri-Klops better than the Classics but shame that this one doesn't have a chip :(
I only need two more Snake Men to complete my army!
Nice score. I'll have to try and get Tri-Klops some day.
I have to agree that Tri-Klops rocks. I got the Snake-Men version of him at a flea mart and I love him. I have all the 200X Snake-Men. I have to say that King Hiss is pretty weak due to his gimmick but at the same time, his gimmcik makes him awesome.
