Not so much a sighting but a heads up, Amazon has the 10188 Death Star set for $360 at the moment (plus about $40 postage). Amazon's a pain to sift through since only maybe 10% of their sets are sellable to Aus, but this sort of deal makes it worth it. 2013 sets from most lines are being found in American TRUs. Check fbtb.net for more info. The Rancor Pit will be a killer price here, judging by the US price.
Lego Hobbit sets are out at TRU - very pricey, moreso than the LOTR sets!!

I've seen some minifig series 9 at Target Chatswood Chase and Warringah in the past week. 2 full boxes when I was there.

Sales for them all (and city) in Big W, Kmart and Target, Target has a blanket 20% off lego as well (minus the awesome Friends sets).
I can see Chima being very popular. I'll be teaching 8-9 year olds again this year, and I have a feeling I'll be hearing/seeing alot of these figures as news presentations/ what I got for my bday throughout the year news time talks.
Might even have to get me a set or two to keep on my desk alongside my Hobbit Lego, DBZ figurines and Cybertron:Armourhide!
New DC/Marvel sets are out at Big Ws.
New DC Batman sets are out in Kmart. $35 for the tiny Batman vs. Freeze set and a ridiculous $65 for the only slightly bigger Batwing vs Bane set.
Was interested in the sets, but not for that much coin.
Just saw the Rancor pit (4 of) at Big Dub in Belmont for 88 bucks. Also had a new A-wing with A Ackbar, Han and a freaked out looking Pilot ($38) and a set called Headhunter?? sort of looked a bit x-wing-ish with 3 minifigs.
hopefully they still have some when i get more cash.
Kmart Altona Gate have all the new Super Heroes, Star Wars etc. set.
Disappointing that the Rancor Pit is $100 at Kmart.
I might have to head down to Big W.;)

What really irritates me about these is that 3 of the sets have Leonardo. Why so many Leonardos, Lego? You have to buy all of the sets to get all 4 turtles and then have extras.:confused:

Saw the Turtle Lair, Shredder Bike and the Stealth Shell at Big W Point Cook/Sanctuary. Buy all three of those and you get the turtles, Splinter, Shredder, 3 foots, a ninja and fishface.

Spotted 2 of the Iron Man and one of the Superman sets in Big W Melbourne CBD.
They were the smaller sets. Biggest was the Iron Man & War Machine set.
And I had to grab it......
