Gots me DBZ Season 5: Cell Saga and DBZ Movies 1+2.
Had to force myself not buy Interactive Wall-E and Eve, but methinks after I watch the movie I will be owning them.
The Wall-E movie was great! I watched it at a legit screening 2weeks ago with my two boys
I supposed I could call that an acquisition too :D
This arrived from Amazon... :)

If you haven't seen an episode of this show, do yourself a favour & watch atleast 1 - You will luv it! :D
at the start it was a very poor (americanised) rip off of the much superior gervais/merchant British version... but in the later seasons when they made up their own stuff, and let carrell make his own version of the boss instead of trying to copy gervais, it got a lot better.. i like the original an infinite times more though
In all honesty, I haven't watched a single episode of the British Version :o Why did it only last 2 seasons?
if you like good comedy, watch the british one.. british comedy is so much better than most of what america comes up with, apart from arrested development and a few others.. it ended after 2 series and a xmas special because gervais had a clear idea of what he wanted and that was it, he didnt want it to drag on and become dull like whats been happening to the simpsons for the last 5 or so years and the like.. same with extras, he ended it after 2 series and a xmas special
Thanks Mate :)
I may have to acquire it one day (& Ezydvd have it on pre-order... Hmmmm)
While out I picked up Star Wars : Battlefront II for PC. Cheap, $19. One of those "Wanted Now" budget ones. Well worth it though
Also got Apocalypso by the Presests. Pretty good album. Well worth the $20
Many British Comedies (that arent sketch shows) run for only 1-2 seasons of a handful of episodes, Fawlty Towers, Black Book, IT Crowd, The Office etc, keeps the show fresh and they can pack all the episodes full of good stuff without getting complacent.
I'd suggest getting all of the UK Office, it is very good, I'm glad to see you too got past the terrible first season of the US Office (it was a very pale imitation) but ever since they have been doing their own thing it is easily the best show on the idiot box. (mostly because Scrubs has gotten repetitive and Arrested Development was canned! :D)
Wall-E says" Oooooh Eeee-vahhh" *and dances happily*

Eve blinks and says hi to everyone on the board:

Those look very neat, Mel. I'm goin' to have to get my lil' sister one, I reckon.
Nice Sifun! What's that? It looks frickin' awesome.
its a revoltech ARX-8 from full metal panic... i love revoltech
How much should i be looking to pay for one? (:o)
ahh around $20-25 AUD plus whatever shipping will cost, thats BIN on ebay.. or you could check minotaur as they have a fair few, but i cant remember how much they sell for there
Minotaur sells Revoltechs for around $40+, that and they don't seem to stock any new ones.
If you want to find a bricks and mortars place that sells the "latest" Revoltechs then your best bet (in Melbourne) is that upstairs anime store; Ozanimart. Located on Little Bourke next to the Commonwealth bank. They sell them for about $30+. But they only get in one or two so you have to be quick or they're gone.
But of course it's much cheaper online.
theres an anime store there?!
yeah that revoltech.. so nice. I love it! haha
It's fairly new I think, opened sometime last year.
Their address is; Level 7 suite 705/258 Lt. Bourke St, Melbourne Vic 3000.
It's right next to the Commonwealth bank on Little Bourke, there's a set steps and glass doors which leads you into a small foyer with two lifts. Head up to level seven and walk straight down the long corridor. It's at the end, can't really miss it. They've got a tatami mat set up with a computer, I see a lot of people just sit there and watch anime or play doujin fighters. Out of all the anime stores in Melbourne they probably are the most well stocked with latest and newest items, they probably also have the best prices (for a bricks and mortars store).
Well compared to the anime stores I know of they seem cheaper, in terms of figurines, toys, collectables etc.
Surely they're cheaper then Hobby Japan.
Animezone doesn't regularly get new stock in (besides the odd Transformer). I haven't been down there for a while and I live in Box Hill!
One Stop Anime (is that what it's called?), the one in the Tivoli arcade next to RMIT Business, well I never really go in there, most of their stuff is shady looking.
Guys, if you want to get Interactive Wall-E and Eve, you better get it soon and check if its on sale for the Kmart toy sale. Otherwise ebay is selling it at ridiculous prices like AUD$99 shipped from U.S. The last Target toysale, the lady told me they were flying off the shelves.
Plus the school hols start this weekend, so it will definitely be flying off the shelves after all the kids have watched the cartoon.
Target normal price; $59.95, Kmart normal price: $69.95
P.S I will get Transforming Wall-E and Eve soon too stompy... heehee And nice Revoltech figure Sifun... :)
From Target I picked up this:

i acquired from darebin libraries for 3 weeks the following.. justice league: new frontiers dvd, superman: our worlds at war vol 1 and neon genesis manga vol 1...
its great, why borrow dvds from stores for around $5 a disc, depending on if you get a deal or whatever, when you can borrow for a free, AND for a max of 9 weeks, and the most you can pay is $1 for a reserve fee.. my friend told me about it and i was like "get out of here," but i had a look at the catalogue online and they have everything.. dvds, complete boxsets, comics, cds.. i was pleasantly surprised, compared to my old library that would have a VHS at best... haha
Got around to unboxing my Gaccha Gaccha Doraemon Chogokin.
I love Doraemon, grew up watching it, I still think I have my Cantonese dubbed VHS copies lying around.

Wow he is heavy! Well he is diecast metal (all but his feet which are plastic) but even so I didn't expect him to be this heavy. You'd take someone out if you hurled him at their head.
He's essentially a gashapon machine (those toy vending machines), you put the balls in the back of his head, pull his tail and they pop out of his chest. I had an unbelievably hard time opening those balls to put in the small toy prizes, I didn't realize until the end that yellow flat bell thing was used to skewer the balls open.
Limited movement, his head and arm can swivel, that's it.
All the accessories have small magnets at the end so they attach on Doraemon's head and arm. The extra sets of eyes are also magnetic.
Doraemon looks absolutely fantastic. I'm really happy with him.
piratescratch thats pretty cool :)
Arggghh Doraemon is soooo cute piratescratch!
