The latest wave of Rescue Bots "rescan" convertible bots have been found at American retail, which has the new jet Bumblebee, new dragon Heatwave, redeco t-rex Optimus and redeco raptor Bumblebee.
They were released on Amazon America a couple weeks ago, so they didn't take long to appear at retail there.
These should show up here eventually, but first we should get the previous wave with the new toy Brushguard (turns into an ATV).
-
More wave 2 Movie toys are showing up around the world, with the Deluxes being found in Canada, and the Voyagers being found in Singapore with the US Target exclusive Reveal Your Shield Voyager Optimus.
-
RID Warrior wave 3 for 2017 are now out in Asia, being found in Singapore. (Twinferno, Bludgeon, Thermidor)
And the Movie wave 2 Deluxe toys are also out in Asia, being found in Malaysia. (Drift, Slug, Sqweeks, Steelbane)
Meanwhile, the second wave of Movie Legions (Megatron, Drift, Crosshairs) is out in Canada.
-
Looks like the first of the wave 3 Movie toys are being found in Asia, straight after wave 2 toys were being found.
The wave 1 Leaders were found in the Philippines, as well as a whole heap of wave 2 and 3 toys in Legion and 1-step size classes.
Legion - Megatron, Dragonstorm, Hound.
1-step - Scorn, Drift, Hound, Cogman, Megatron, Grimlock.
The wave 3 1-step toys have on the packaging, the Cyberfire gimmick, which notes that the toys have UV reactive paint on them, that the large size Dragonstorm toy can reveal. The first two waves also have reactive paint on them but didn't have this noted on the packaging because the Dragonstorm toy wasn't going to be out until the wave 3 1-step toys were released.
And Titan Changer Megatron has been found in America as well.
-
The ToysRUs exclusive Mission to Cybertron Legion 2-packs have been found in America, for US$15. It's not as bad as our over-pricing, but it is still more than what two of their Legion sized toys cost (US$7 each over there). It's amazing to see that stores here are selling Legions for less than the converted amount of that size class in America. Based on other size class rates here, Legions should actually be AU$10-12 here.
-
TRU exclusive Skullitron and Megatron stealthbomber have just been found in America.
-
The Cybertron Planet (redeco Primus toy) is also now out in America, for US$150... which would mean at least AU$300 if it came here. It isn't expected here, but if these things shelfwarm around the world for being 3 times the price of the original version, we might see these offloaded here for cheap in a couple years time.

New items in Hong Kong in the last week. (they had a big toy launch last Thursday, so a lot of new toys came out over a couple of days)
The Chaos on Cybertron boxset.

The next wave of Titans Return toys (Trypticon, Overlord, Blitzwing, Octone, Twintwist, Windblade, Misfire, Seaspray, and Cosmos - and probably Ramhorn too), all have a release date of July 1st, and some stores already have some of them, but are not supposed to put them out until that day... so expect a heap of sightings of those toys from Asia in about 5 days time.

TF5 MTC Legion 2-packs, and behind them AU Legion 2-packs. (note that there is a price difference of HK$10 between the two... like there is a significant difference in the RRP of these in America - as such, I think these are on the wrong pegs, as the "Walmart" 2-packs are the cheaper ones in America)

And Rescue Bots 2017 wave 1 & 2 Rescan, and Megabot Blades... yes, I know it's not on your archive... I'm just noting it here for anyone who might be interested while I'm posting up my HK toy photos.

Found in USA, the RID Crash Combiner wave 3 (with Shocknado and Dragbreak), TF5 Voyager wave 2 (Megatron & Hound), and possibly Leader class Megatron and Optimus (just not at a major retailer yet).
And in Canada, which could mean the US soon as well, TF5 MP Bumblebee, wave 3 RID Crash Combiners and wave 3 RID Warriors (Bludgeon, Thermidor, Twinferno).
Also, since it is now past the first of July, the fifth wave of Titans Return toys are now allowed to be sold in Asia, including Trypticon, so expect to see sightings or shipping notices from Asian online stores, this week.
-
Trypticon has appeared in the UK... before America, which is really unusual.
It is £149.99, which is about AU$260 - cheaper than our cheapest retailer's regular price.
And the TF5 Legion wave 2 were found in America.
-
RID Activators w3 (Soundwave & Optimus) have been found at Target in America.
RC Sqweeks and TR Trypticon have been found at an independent store in the US, so could be out at regular retail soon as well. Trypticon has also shown up at BBTS, which should be from Hasbro America.
-
A new shipment of Transformers must have arrived from China into America recently, as a lot of new toys have just been found in the last few days.
Generations Trypticon has now been found at a major retailer in America, while the Generations wave 5 Deluxes (Misfire, Twintwist, Windblade) have also just been found at American retail.
From the Movie toyline, the Leader Class (Optimus, Megatron), RC Sqweeks, and Mega Changer Dragonstorm, have also been found at major retail in America.
From RID, the first wave of Combiner Teams (Ultra Bee, Menasor), have been found over there as well.
And as for Rescue Bots, the Knight Watch Bumblebee (turns into a dragon, with two dragon minicons), has been found at a ToysRUs, while a new Minicon/Friends figure called Silverback (a white gorilla) has been found on Amazon America.
-
The first wave of Rescue Bots Flip Racers have been found (reported) in America. They've been on Amazon America for a little while, so they might have been in stores there for a while too.
And now that SDCC is over, the latest Gen1 Masterpiece (Optimus reissue) has now been found in stores in America.
-
Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee has been found at ToysRUs in America, as has the first wave of Allspark Tech (at Target), and the Walmart exclusive Flip&Change Bumblebee and Hotrod.
-
Movie Masterpiece Optimus is now out in America, as a ToysRUs exclusive, as is Infernocus ($35) and RTS Voyager Optimus.
The Reveal The Shield series was expected to be a Target exclusive in America, but the Voyager Optimus has shown up at ToysRUs, suggesting that Hasbro prepared several toys as exclusives for Target, but the retailer only ended up taking the others... leaving Hasbro looking for a new home for the Voyager Optimus.
Titans Return Ramhorn (wave 5) is also out in America.
-
Wave 3 Movie Voyagers (Scorn & Nitro) are now out in America and Asia... but are not expected here at this time (this could change if retailer demand picks up).
The giant Rescue Bots Optimus trailer trackset for the Flip Racers is also out in America.
-
Wave 4 RID Legion Twinferno has been found in Asia (Singapore ToysRUs), which was only just revealed a month ago at SDCC.
-
Wave 3 Movie Deluxes have been found at US retail, which is the new Bumblebee, redeco Strafe and remoulded Crosshairs.
-
Cyber Battalion toys have finally made their way to regular retail in America, with the wave 2 Jetfire being found at Walgreens, along with Bumblebee (probably in with the second wave). They were priced at a very nice US$17 (about the same as a Deluxe over there), considering these are about Voyager sized, and Walgreens is usually more than regular retail with their pricing because they are a convenience store.
Hasbro Australia were looking at getting them in here as well, but I haven't heard if we will.
RID Combiner Teams wave 2 (Galvatronus) is now out in Asia... in the same week that wave 1 was found here.
BTW, it looks like we aren't the only ones having trouble with Movie Deluxe Wave 1 warming shelves, as wave 2 in America is proving hard to find... to the point of wave 3 showing up because stores sat on wave 1 for too long.
-
The Target exclusive 3-pack of Movie Tiny Changers (Optimus, Bumblebee, Steelbane) has finally been found in stores in America for US$10... which is a dollar more than three individual figures, which probably accounts for the extra packaging.
These are not expected here.
-
Movie Knight Armor wave 3 Hound now out in America.
-
The giant Cybertron planet toy from TF5 Mission to Cybertron, has been found in the UK, selling for a huge £150... which is about AU$260!
It shows how much it would have been here (if we had got this toy), for a toy that was about AU$100 when it was here in 2006.
And the 3rd wave of Movie 1-steps (Scorn, Drift, Cogman) have been found in America.
-
TF5 Leader Dragonstorm from wave 2 has shown up at US retail.... hopefully it shows up here too.
And while we are still waiting for wave 2 Movie Deluxes here, the fourth wave assortment breakdown has been revealed to be 2 Cogman, 2 Bumblebee (probably w3 version), 1 Strafe, 1 Crosshairs, 1 Barricade, 1 Berzerker. At least if get wave 4 here, it contains all of wave 3 as well.... collectors would still have to hunt down wave 2 though.
-
-
A week after being released on Amazon America, TR Slugslinger has been found at a retail store over there.
-
Not an actual toy, but toy related - the next year or two of store banner advertising has appeared in America, and should show up here, replacing the current shelf strips and any overhead bannering, with new shelf strips (reversing the red and white it seems) and bannering that features the new "Transformers Authentics" and the logo of "More than Meets The Eye" is back.
-
Wave 2 Rescue Bots Flip Racers have been found in America, which are just the 3 toys in one of the wave 1 3-packs.
-
RID combiner Galvatronus is out in America at retail (found in Fort Wayne Indiana... the original home of BotCon).
An odd variant sighting of Voyager Movie Hound in America, with the modified red cross painted on the forehead, like on the product images on the packaging.
This could be a one off, or a running change for a later wave... there haven't been any other sightings yet.
-
The Walgreens Titans Return Clone 2-pack has finally been listed on the Walgreens site, but they aren't selling any online yet. I think it took a while for Brainstorm to be available on their website, but almost a year later, it's still available (if you know someone to get one for you).
The wave 4 Cogman has shown up at American retail as well... and hopefully it comes here too, as the case assortment includes all of wave 3.
-
The newest Rescue Bots (stegosaurus Chase and the new truck Optimus) have been found in America (a week after they were on Amazon).
And the Legion Dragonstorm (wave 3) has also been found in America (as well as the UK), but Hound isn't being found with it, suggesting that it is a fourth wave that doesn't include both of the new toys from wave 3.
-
Apparently the final wave of RID Warriors hadn't arrived in America yet, and with sightings this week of just Twinferno, it sounds like they missed the wave with Thermidor and Bludgeon, and have skipped over to a revision wave that repacks older toys in place of those two.
-
The Walgreens exclusive 2-pack of Clones has finally been found in-store in America for US$18.
-
It seems that a number of the store exclusive movie toys were really late showing up in America, and still haven't shown up there yet, including some of the Walmart exclusives... considering that they were released in Asia in June.
Some have now been found at discount chains, suggesting that Walmart have cancelled plans to release them at all. (which doesn't matter to us much here, as we don't have Walmart, or these toys expected here)
-
Deluxe Movie Cogman (wave 4) has just shown up in Canada and England... so there could still be hope for us here. And if it does, it contains all of wave 3 as well, which would catch us up nicely, after being warned by Hasbro Australia a few months back that we might not see anything other than wave 1 here.
-
RID 1-step Soundwave has been found at retail in America... which I had totally forgotten about, as I thought that Heatseeker/Strongarm was the final wave.
-
I thought RID Legion Twinferno was already out in America... or I must have missed it. It's out now.
That leaves the last two Crash Combiners as the final RID toys to be released... IF, they aren't axed like most final toys of a toyline.
-
RID Warriors Bludgeon and Thermido have been found at Walmart in America... some time after the Twinferno showed up as a revision wave without those two Decepticons.
-
It seems that Cogman ended up just about everywhere in the world except here... as it has now been found in South America (in Columbia).
It's pretty expensive there though, at about AU$60.
-
The final RID toys - Crash Combiners Optimus/Grimlock & Saberhorn/Bisk - have been found at US retail (and were released in Asia as well).
-
Apparently this is a first for the UK - the second wave of Cyber Battalions have been found, which have Prowl and Jetfire, with re-released Optimus and Bumblebee.
