Mine has a Hasbro 1987 and a Takara Japan 1987 stamp

Hey blackie, i thought i already told you this in one of my PM's...
Anyways, the D-98 Reissue sixshot says:
HASBRO 1986
TAKARA CO. LTD.
1986 CHINA
The Original G1 says exactly the same thing except it says JAPAN instead of CHINA...
I'm looking at both versions in front of me right now...
umm strange, I'm not sure how Paulbot got "1987" and "Japan" on his "reissue" sixshot??
Weird! My sister took my digitial camera so I cant take a photo (black text on black doesn't come out well on my webcam), but my Sixshot definitely says
(C) HASBRO 1987
(C) TAKARA CO. LTD.
1987 JAPAN
I bought mine loose and assumed it was the Reissue. Maybe it is the 1988 range version? If so it's in great condition for a toy that old.
whoa... that is confusing...
Feel free to correct me here guys, but aren't all official "reissues" and "encores" made in China and subsequently have CHINA on the stamp or its sometimes left blank where the name of the country should be??
I think if you got JAPAN on yours Paulbot then thats an original G1 thats just in good nick and not a reissue....
I'm just shooting in the dark here but maybe they released a second wave of sixshots during 1988 (1987 stamp) with some slight tweaks to the mould therefore different dates?? Like pre-rubs and then releasing later on rubsign versions which are almost exactly the same but still made by takara Japan which are not considered a "reissue" in modern day's sense...??
it would be great if someone here can clarify for sure.....
Is TakTom plan on doing encore versions for the rest of the Minibots in the near future?
My Sixshot is an original and the copyright on mine reads:
(C) HASBRO .1986
(C) TAKARA CO,.LTD.
1986

An easier way to tell is to look at the box. Obviously the reissue would be in Japanese, but to differentiate it from an original G1 Japanese Sixshot, the reissue should have no tech specs or robot points printed on the back of the box. Where this stuff would be should instead be a white box full of text (legal blurb) including the words "対象年令15才以上" (For Ages 15 and Up). And of course the tech specs bio itself would be on a collectable card.
Also on the bottom of the front of the box you should see these words:
D-98 デストロン/忍者参謀 シックショット 復刻版
("D-98 Decepticon/Ninja Sixshot Reissue Edition")
...so obviously the words in bold are the ones to look out for.
Also the Takara logo will be different. Here is a pic of a MISB Raiden - a Transformer released in the same year as Sixshot in Japan. You can see that the Takara logo on this box features the "black boy" which is absent on the reissue's box. Otherwise the text and font are the same.

I saw the reissue once in 2002 and when I compared it to my original it looked like - to me - that the reissue's green is every so slightly more turqoise than the original. But I'm not entirely sure if this is true or if I'd been staring at those toys too long and my eyes were acting up on me. Does anyone here have both the original and reissue?
