My Christmas present to myself arrived just in time this morning. It's almost like christmas 1985 all over again: Optimus Prime, Perceptor, the Insecticons, latest Cassettes and a new Skywarp figure. All good. :)

G1 Countdown arrived in the mail today. the base only minus the two small lasers, a mechanical arm, one short ramp, gunner pod, gantry/platform and countdown himself... but it gives my micromasters somewhere to hang out while I look for the rest.
Four G1 constructicons also arrived today.

I'm slightly annoyed as the ebay auction stated him as being 100% complete yet he didn't come with any instructions and even more cruddly, no stickers! This is particularly irksome as neither reprolabels nor tfstickers carry reproduction stickers, so I guess I'll have to put up with him being naked. Waah.

Also received the 3rd Encore tapes set and as expected, they're great toys. Comparing my original Rumble (red one) to the Encore Rumble, I noticed that the red and black plastic is a bit washed out/transparent on the Encore compared to the very vibrant black and red on the original. It's not a deal breaker by any means but it's worth mentioning.
