Does anyone know why Kmart and Woolies don't sell DVDs anymore?
For Kmart it was about making space for other products.
I sorta remember the news that Kmart would stop selling discs last year. I don't remember Woolworths making an announcement...

Or in business terms, the allocated selling floor space was not bringing in the sales revenue anticipated.
We have therefore decided to cease stocking DVD's CD's & BR's from the business and replace them with product that will generate increased profit margins.
Makes sense, digital sales plus JB HIfi must be sucking the sales of dvds from everyone else.
The day after easter and the tv shows are flooded with mothers day commercials.
Good - my nearest Coles MASSIVELY over-stocked on Easter chocolates, to the point of needing to discount them to 90% off after just three days after Easter (yesterday).
Stores generally go 50% off after Easter, and maybe discount more a couple weeks later if anything is left.
Bad - my nearest Coles discounted their wall (no kidding) of Easter chocolates to 90% off... ;)
(I don't feel so good today... :p )
If you Google "Thanos" you will see a small icon of the Infinity Gauntlet on the far right. Click on this icon once only for a cool Easter Egg, but do not click on it a second time unless you have already seen Endgame or you don't care about spoilers.
Just came back from a 10 day Kangaroo Island holiday. Fair warning to those who want to go; its wonderful and very picturesque and has a lot of different things to do, but its VERY expensive. We crammed a lot into our time but still had room to do more.
Had a vicious virus on the PC. Had the pc wiped. Know i believe the pc is infected again. Discord would say im registering from places like karlgoolie, albany and bunbury. Now discord is saying the same thing again. So fed up with PC.
So is anyone talking about this?

If not, then why not?
Because there's no money in it.. . basically
Because you'd have to vote green to believe any of that garbage...
Extinction of species is obviously nothing new.
I seem to remember reading an article stating that cats are responsible for more extinctions than humans, directly.
Well, Scott Morrison was a little bit. He passed a bill back in January that banned cosmetic testing on lab animals, so apparently they've done their bit now.
Honestly though, for people who are aware of it then it's not really news, and for people who won't believe it nothing is going to convince them anyway.
For me personally, I'm actually finding it all a bit hard to process...just the sheer scale of how ****ed we are at this point, and of how little hope there is of doing anything meaningful about it let alone in the very very narrow window of time in which there is to do so before it's Bye Bye Livable Planet Time, and of how drastic the lifestyle changes we'd need to make to do so are (I mean, I like cheese and dairy and meat and coffee :( )...I Can't Deal With That Now[/Ultra Magnus].
Coincidentally, I'm more of an Independent voter myself - Craig Garland probably has my vote this time, but I've got a lot of time for Andrew Wilkie and even Jacqui Lambie over the current-day Greens.
The nbn modem, should the blue LAN light be flashing if no devices are using the internet?
The modem's LAN light can flash if a networked device is connected to the modem. The networked device might not be actively using the internet, but handshaking still occurs between the device and the modem.
Can you connect to the internet through the modem (when your devices are on)? What's your provider/NBN modem model?
Yes can connect to the internet. Its the white fttc squareish one. Telstra is the provider. I unplugged the ethernet cables so the telstra modem and phone were the only thing connected to the nbn mobem, it flashed. Someone said on here earlier someone might be hacking as discord was telling me i was from mandurah. Just thinking two plus two.
Would the home phone make it flash?
Unsure about the blinking light. If you log in to your modem's control panel (192.168.0.1), you should be able to see which devices are connected to the modem/your network.
The location in Discord not matching your exact location doesn't necessarily mean the connection has been compromised. Discord is probably showing the location based on IP address.
I tried the new m&m dohnuts. Yuk. The icing is like a warm margarine texture. Just tastes so weird with all the artificial crap.
Halloween tonight and both SBS and the Nine Network are showing the two Addams family movies from the 1990s... one on each channel at the same time, which I thought was amusing.
Hope everyone in NSW is prepared for the next few days. Know I’m not the only OzF who has been putting together a emergency fire evac kit
So many homes lost, people dead, hope everyone stays safe!!
We've got our Emergency Bags packed just in case
As Autocon said, stay safe to all those, their family and friends in possible danger areas. We are all thinking of you.
The hazardous smoke levels in Melbourne are newer and they suck. It is triggering my asthma and trapping me inside my office or house (and I have no airconn at home and don’t date open windows so it’s getting very unpleasant). For those in other states that have had the smoke longer I don’t know how you’re coping with it over a longer term.
The respites have been good. I can’t imagine how people in the other states where it’s been around longer are coping.
I prefer the wii cybertron adventures end boss battles to the PS/WFC campaign end battles
There’s something about driving through Trypticon as Megatron then shooting out of his mouth, and playing as Optimus trying to beat a deadline (and the music!) that just grab me
There's a new FunkoPop of a Firefighter with a koala and I can't tell if I think it's brilliant or shameless

RSPCA National Bushfire Appeal - Bushfire Heroes Firefighter with Koala Pop! Vinyl Figure (Popcultcha Exclusive)
Popcultcha and Funko are teaming up to help provide assistance to Australian wildlife that have been left devastated by the ongoing bushfire crisis with the release of this LIMITED EDITION Bushfire Heroes Pop! Vinyl Figure!
All profits from the sale of this Popcultcha Exclusive Pop! Vinyl Figure will be donated to the RSPCA National Bushfire Appeal through monthly payments until sold out. The RSPCA are working alongside government and emergency agencies, veterinarians and local authorities to provide much needed equipment and supplies, emergency care and identifying and assessing injured animals in need of assistance. Their work will continue for months after the fires have ceased.
I am not sure how I feel about that. On one hand, money is going to a good cause. On the other, I feel it's tacky. And it does make you wonder how much profit they make on POPS.
Meh, I mean they could've done nothing. They're not obliged to do anything. Nobody's forced to buy anything. People are free to donate directly to wherever they want.
You can just donate directly to the bushfires without having to own an abomination. :p
All jokes aside, if it raises money for a good cause then it's a good thing.
While sitting on the porcelain throne this morning a random revelation came to mind. The word "android" means "manlike."
andro = man
id(es) = appearance, form
