nice one MV... is it brand new? Mind if I ask what model number?
I posted it right here:

Yep, new. :)
I recently saw the same Robotech boxset in JB HIFI for around $60-70, I can't remember what price.. it was on special from around $140 or so though... Was thinking about picking it up but I had to get some other stuff, is it worth picking up? If it's still there I might grab it
Yeah that's it, the protoculture collection.. trust me I didn't believe it either, the girl was putting new prices on heaps of anime boxsets, trying to get rid of them I guess.. the madman boxset of just the original macross in japanese (the name escapes me, but the one that was dubbed into english becoming robotech) was also reduced to $30 or so...
Yes it did. I got it from an EB Games at Fountain Gate years and years ago. Still haven't played it enough to unlock every colour/gallery/stage which frustrates me, but I've got all the characters unlocked. The drop of the medium punch/kick buttons has always thrown out my rhythm in the game though. I still can't go past X-Men vs Street Fighter as my favourite 2D fighter. The amount of cash I spent at Arcades playing that game... :)
Spiderman and General Grievous Mighty Muggs
yay!
ahh well there you go, I was looking for it a couple of years ago and I could never find a copy, and I don't think I ever even found a release date for here or europe, so I just figured it hadn't been released over here.. I never got around to getting it off ebay or anything so never really thought much about it after that haha
I love daytona, play it now at uni every now and then, great game... recently been playing aero fighters 1/2/3 on mame, i love those aeroplane shooter games like that and raptor:call of shadows etc.. I grew up in the country so we didn't have any arcades or anything, only The Simpsons arcade game at the local club, that was pretty fun too though :)
I'm more of a Tekken fan (plus I play quite a bit of the DBZ fighters as well), but after finding my old copies of X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom (my personal fav of the series) as well as Downloading Street Fighter II for the Wii I decided to get it to punish my thumbs even further.
Wish I had the space for some Daytona machines, that and Point Blank/Time Crisis ate up all my money in arcades.

LEGO Batman -Xbox 360, $74
OZ season 6 -DVD, $37

Batman is good fun!
Gotta love Oz, one of the best shows I've ever seen.. I've seen most episodes when it used to be on SBS Monday nights, but I'm currently in the process of watching/ripping them all from the copies at the library :D
Can't go past Metallica's black album either, their last good one haha
They look awesome! :) (especially Scarecrow ;))

Picked up these recently.
Boom Blox is surprisingly fun especially multiplayer wise. I really like the Jenga-esque puzzles, not caring for the shooting gallery ones though. I need to get around to fiddling with the Create mode and make myself some Rube Goldberg machines.
Mario Kart Wii has been frustrating but fun none the less, I three starred everything in the DS one but I don't think I can be bothered with this one though, just aiming for one star. Working through 150CC at the moment.
I love the Wario Land games, one and two (the Gameboy ones) are my favourite. So naturally I needed to pick Wario Land The Shake Dimension up. It looks absolutely gorgeous, shame it doesn't really utilize wide screen. On world three at the moment, I'm just blitzing the levels, I'll come back and grab the treasures and do the quests later.
Lego Batman I haven't touched yet. Planning on getting a few friends over soon for a night of Lego Batman-ing because really the TT Lego games are best played in co-op mode.
Came home to find that the gf had bought me DeBlob.
Lego Batman, Paper Mario and all the other games Im part way done will be waiting for me to get sick of this game now.
