I started playing Resident Evil 5 (which I've had on the to-play pile for ages). It's really not much fun and I'm not sure I can be bothered playing any more (and I've only up to chapter 2). I think part of the problem is a lack of a good in-game tutorial and clunky controls. I was reading an FAQ guide and realised that you need to do less shooting and more "melee" attacks.
I thought RE5 was designed like a third person shooter. Not that I like RE anyway but that's what it looks like. There is no excuse for clunky controls imo. I find that no matter how nice a game looks or how good the story is, if the controls are crap, I simply won't bother playing it.Quote:

My SNES is now region-free with widened cart slot for US games & a 60hz mod, looks marvelous!
My Mega Drive II has a 60hz mod too, now Sonic can finally run faster! Had a strange issue with the 60hz picture suffering from a blurry image (50hz looked better! & SNES has no such issues in 60hz) however running the games through my 32X cleans them right up. weird!
Finally a region-free mod for my NES, now for the task or replacing my PAL NES carts with NTSC. Blah.
How'd you manage that? My SNES is still MIB (surprise, surprise :D) so I'd probably buy a second to mod if it's a simple process.Quote:
