2010 Creator sets? Where?
The two new Space Police sets looks nice. The Atlantis ones are ok. I like the colour scheme but the sets vary between really nice to awful. That Power Miners mech looks excellent.

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knows if lego have released any other train sets apart from the emerald express? or if there are any sites like instructables with instructions on building an alternate locomotive? I had a browse last night through google but had no luck =[
Go to www.brickset.com to look at every train set released thus far by Lego.
i have bits n pieces of a black falcon castle, which was re released in 2002. how much would it be worth?
Was at David Jones today
Every year for the last couple of years they have gotten an exclusive Lego set.
This year they are getting the Grand Carousel. $400 too >_>
but they are having a 25% off toys sale atm so its only $300. And they layby ^_^

hey i was wondering if there was a way to shrink rubber treads from a power miners kit?? they are a bit streched and dont go around the wheels properly.
thanks
Is it how they came with a just new kit, or you've just stretched them?
IF it's how they came and they're not right, send part replacement request to lego.com.
well its a new kit so im guessing its how they came but they seem to big for the design.
Its the boulder blaster power miners kit 8707, just wondering if anyone has this issue or if it meant to be a little loose.
I've got this set and the treads should be loose enough so that they fit over the wheel rims but not tight enough to be totally snug. In other words, there is a bit of droop on the tread but not enough that it will actually fall off the rim. This is normal as far as I can tell since I have this same issue with other sets which utilise this set up. If you place the Boulder Blaster on a solid surface like a table, you'll find the problem is less noticable.
OK thanks for the confirmation, i wish they made them tighter because sometimes it wont roll properly and knocks off the gas tank thingy on the opposite side to the launcher. o well
So I'm building the Front Loader and I want to make it fully motorized and RC as per the instructions at Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=399314
Apart from eBay and the Lego shop, does anyone know anywhere else I could source the motors and RC gear from? (Lego shop has April as the ship date for the RC gear!!!)
Well the power functions set should still be in at toyworlds. I dunno if it has what you need entirely though.
Try Bricklink
Its kinda like Amazon or ebay but for Lego only
There is a dedicated Lego store here in Adelaide that could help you
The Toy Corner
has an1 seen this one are they getting it?

Been wanting that since first pics came out.
But ~$280 seems a tad bit too much
would you have any idea how much they would charge for postage on top of that?
$45.
Which seems to be Legos flat-rate for shipping no matter the size of the order.
There are pics of the new Modular Street set out.
It is a retail corner shop.
Pictures found on the Eurobricks forum

Awesome, I like that the sets are smaller on average (and hopefully cheaper).
I wouldn't have minded the continuation of the fantasy element but its still a nice concept overall.
The only thing I am dissapointed about is that some set designs are virtually carbon copies from previous lines. You'd think they could be more creative with their designs.
I think I prefer the colours of the 2007-2009 sets. Not sure if I'll be buying as much with these new ones... :p
heads up - lego.com has free shipping for orders today and tomorrow only!!
plus a free star wars lego sticker sheet with any sw lego purchase.
Hmmmm.... not for me. Perhaps SW Lego is required for free shipping too?
Working for me. I tried putting through some other sets. Only the orders above about $90 qualified for free shipping
That's seemingly standard policy though. (standard shipping free for overs over A$90)
I'm pretty sure it usually caps shipping at $45 when you spend a certain amount. At least that was what happened when I did a big group order ages ago.
EDIT - must have changed the policy since then
According to FBTB.net there is a minimum spend for the free shipping. Perhaps the online site has changed the policy temporarily for the promotion
I think you're right. They've just been diligent and updated their policy in line with the promotion. Thanks for the tip Chansformer! Don't think i find A$90 worth though.
