Um, Gok. You know there is an english version of every Amazon Japan page? If you click on the little globe with the letters JP on it you can select EN - English. No need to keep showing us screen shots we can't read.:p

Good to see one of your Primal has arrived, hopefully your next coming MP will have faster ship + good tracking.
Which prob would be inferno which comes out this week, time flies.
Amiami wise, it usually takes a day or 2 to sell out depending on item and if you following their FB page or a few other similar stores / hobby groups someone always post when new stuff goes up, you'll always be notified one way or another
I did not know that. :o Although the screen shots were from Japan Post. Don't know if they have pages in other languages (I don't check for these things, soz).
My MP Inferno is from Premium Collectables, so on the shipping is free (yay 100+ club!) and domestic. Although the speed of delivery varies depending on courier, which isn't PC's fault (I find StarTrack to be the worst). But it's always trackable.
JP post has eng ver http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ems/index_en.html
Did not know that. :)
It'd be nice if Australia Post's website were also available in other languages (as well as operating on weekends and overall being more efficient like JP Post) :o
Also you know you can enter a tracking number from Japan Post into the Australia Post web site. It will give you better Australia end information, the Japan Post site gives better Japanese end information. I don't know if they have updated it to work on every item but at last time I used SAL it tracked my package and it definitely tracks each months EMS package from HLJ.
LG Fort Max is on the way
Okay. Variation on the waiting game.
I ordered LG36 Soundwave from PC back in July based on their proposed November release date so I could get it for a nephew's Christmas present.
At this point it looks like arriving in January. Not ideal.
Options
1. convince nephew Santa got lost.
Find a Hasbro version.
2. US site with up to 45 day delivery time. Or pay for less.
3. Ebay. The closer to RRP the closer the sellers get to mainland China.
4. Look at all the TR Wave 3 that came out in the last 48hrs and cross my fingers and toes and hope Soundwave shows up here and I can nab him.
What should I do?
You could enact the Kenner Solution and give him a 1:1 cardboard print out of LG Soundwave which he can "redeem" for the actual toy when it arrives.
Seriously. This is actually what Kenner did with the very first wave of Star Wars A New Hope toys for Xmas of 1977. Kids purchased empty boxes with cardboard cut outs of figures to play with until Kenner could produce and mail the toys out a few months later.

Yeah. Saw the documentary. The audacity of that.
Well. Found a physical Soundwave at Toyworld. I was hoping for a sale at one of the majors for my copy later in the year. At least it is cheaper than online.
In Kenner's defence, before Star Wars came out nobody knew that it would be so successful - not even George Lucas. :o Kenner had clearly underestimated demand for the toys. Also, the action figure collecting culture (as we know it today) was arguably born from Star Wars.
I think HLJ have a 31/12 release date on LG Soundwave, and they'd probably get him before any of the Hasbro Asia resellers ... so probably late Jan at the earliest for PC...
Day 26 of waiting for Amazon-purchased MP Primal.

Somehow I have received my shipment notification for MP Thrust from PC but still waiting on Primal.
Inferno and the LG toys for November are on their way. Should get here by Thursday.
Ok my HLJ MPinferno & LG headmasters waiting game is nearing the end, shipped on fri and landed in Syd this morning, so tomo or tue give or take
How does Amazon Japan pack the items? I'm considering ordering another copy of MP Grapple and they have a good price on it with cheap shipping. I ask this because I haven't been very impressed with how Amazon US packs shipments previously.
Edit: I see reillyd said the packaging was poor on his UW-Computron order in the Amazon Japan new items thread so I guess Amazon is the same everywhere.
How much is shipping with Amazon jp?
As if just the standard jp ems rate why not PO from amami for similar item price of 10,520 JPY http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...=FIGURE-022614
since we know amiami / hlj style shipping boxes have been pretty good
amiami shipping works out similar to HLJ http://www.amiami.com/top/page/t/faq2.html#1
main diffs is you don't have the warehouse system and stuff to tend to sell out faster amiami
I'm going to blame Christmas mail I guess (based on the queues at the Post Office) but I've got a few items coming from overseas (from HLJ, BBTS and Book Depository) that I thought at least one of which would be here by now!
MP Thrust was shipped to me. Hopefully should arrive soon considering it's a domestic delivery.
My MP Thrust from PC had a attempted delivery yesterday and now is at the startrack depot at Darra on the southside of Brissy when i live on the north side.
Waiting for Robotkingdom to ship Thrust and Inferno. Been 4 days now since Inferno came into stock.:(
This round of my waiting game is over, till next time

My MP Thrust order from PC had a delivery ETA of yesterday but has been sitting at the Unanderra Startrack depot since yesterday morning and won't be delivered today either......so I'm going to pick it up from the depot this avo. Fortunately I will be down that way but still annoying.
Inferno, the November LG's and my new custom cables for my PC are out for delivery. Not sure if I should open my HLJ package or my PC Case Gear package first. First world problems.
My MP Inferno from PC has been sent.
FINALLY got my Amazon JP MP Beast Convoy today!

I happened to be near my former address and as awkward as it was, I decided to pay the new resident a visit and politely ask if they'd received any package from Japan. They had and happily gave me the box. What the hell am I paying Australia Post's Redirection Service for if the box was just sent to my old address?!?!? Just as well the new resident didn't chuck the box out, and just as well someone was home when I happened to be driving by, because I don't live near my old address. Needless to say I'll be having unpleasant words with AU Post sometime in the near future about this. I'm also curious to know when this package did actually arrive (I didn't ask the resident as I already felt bad enough imposing on a complete stranger; I made my visit as short and sweet as possible) - mostly because I do keep tabs on how long packages from Japan sent to me takes, and this recent one may very well throw the average postage time off if it had arrived much earlier but had just been sitting at the old address for days or weeks or even a month. Cos currently I've just put yesterday's date as the "arrival" date for this toy, which makes it forty days since it was posted on October 30! That's nearly twice as long as the next longest wait I've had, which was MP Wheeljack (23 days). I'd like to know how long it actually took.
Good that you got it finally, but i guess it'll be going up for sale soon!
Not to defend Australia Post, but I remember you posted how you renewed the redirection and though it seemed you had some overlap, maybe he just slipped through?
Every now and then i fret that important mail gone to an old address after we moved and the redirection has ended... there's so many places you have to update your address these days! Maybe shit is still getting sent there now that i don't know about! Once my car registration expired and i supposedly missed 3 letters before finally receiving a very nasty one about paying a fine ... but that was definitely bogus because we'd already received previous renewals! Ugh, horrible memories. Then I think they changed it so no one got renewal letters at all, what a pita!
At the first place i rented, for a good 2 years we received "questionable" magazine subscription renewal forms, presumably for the previous tenant. Wife wouldn't let me continue them but the brochures were nice! Given the type of content, i never bothered to inform the real estate agent, and no one ever came a knockin' :D
"Questionable" magazines? Never heard of such things. Please enlighten me. :D
