That trick doesn't work so well when the rude person is in a car. The other stupid thing was, he was driving out of a carpark too... so he really shouldn't have been driving that fast and he definitely should be paying attention as exiting a carpark.

Well the main problem is at the local shops here. it was a single one way lane....18 years ago. but now its a double lane. however so many older residents treat it like a single lane and drive in the middle XD
SkyWarp91: I normally "play" with Telemarketers when they call me (strangely enough, they don't call me no more :p). But if I were in that situation where I didn't have time to string them along, I'd just leave the handset on a table -- don't hang up... and that's it. I'd then just go off and have my dinner. Let them talk to thin air and waste their time and money! Or better yet, put on a Transformers episode or movie or music and let it play into the handset (just say "please hold" and pretend it's your hold audio). ;)
