Thanks Suspectimus. It was the Yokohama Transformers Expo. And yes, it had some amazing stuff.

Can someone point me to the review thread for Voyager Brainstorm? I'm sure there must be one but for the life of me I can't see it...
(Unless of course there isn't one, in which case I might start one...)
I don't recall seeing one either. And worse case scenario, board staff can always merge the threads if one already exists. :o
P.S.: I'm not advocating/encouraging people to make duplicate topic threads on purpose, but obviously if a topic is unintentionally duplicated, then staff have the option to merge the threads. :)
Is the leader 2 pack from Myer with Grimmy and Prime worth getting? I'm tempted to as I've recieved Myer vouchers and 60% off seems fair
It's my favourite grimlock
How do the human alliance toys look beside Binaltech/Alternators? Do the figures fit in them? Do the cars scale well together?
I don't want any, I'm just curious if anyone has some pics :)
Does anyone have a really high-res scan or image of RID 16? I'm thinking of getting it printed on a poster.
is there a concrete release date for mp-11sw?
Anyone know the original price of G26 Optimus EX Prime? I'm thinking of picking him up just because he's odd.
Why does JP packaging tend to be monchrome colours? Is it for cost efficiency? Or is there some other explanation?
 The only monochrome Japanese packaging I have are for some limited exclusive items. I imagine it would be for cost efficiency, since those toys are produced in more limited numbers, reducing the cost of packaging would help to keep the price down (re: economies of scale).
I noticed on my Gentei Gentei figures the packaging was the Henkei Henkei except monochrome. That way they could reuse Starscreams packaging for Thundercracker and Skywarp and Cyclonus' packaging for Strafe. I think Ghost Starscream was a new package tho, but I'm not sure.
Q: There is a Sunstorm packed in a Hasbro Commemorative Starscream packaging. Can anyone shed light on this item? Was it packed by mistake or perhaps a limited edition release? Thanks in advance.
Basically it's the first run of eHobby Sunstorm in European packaging. If they weren't 'lunchtime specials' snuck out of a factory, they were either accidents or mockups for the market. There aren't too many in existence, but likewise there's not much demand for them - it's a nice quaint display piece to have. Linthart has one - he'd know as much as anyone:
Wow. I never knew that. And I would've sworn that they were fakes if I didn't know better. But now I know! :D
And knowing is half the battle! ;)
On the "My account" screen at BBTS is the total of the order including shipping or just the value of the items? Does customs count shipping in the $1000 total?
Thanks! The box is definitely customised, but I'm thinking the toy itself is probably the 'Classics' Starscream mailaway from the 2009 Generations book. It's hard to tell what the scale is, but if it's not that then I'm guessing it would be a knockoff, maybe of Smallest Transforming Starscream or the KO by 'King'.
Anyone know of any 2015 TF calanders? Need to replace my 2014 FOC one :)
Yeah, thru amazon - t'was beautiful! :D http://www.amazon.com/2014-Transform.../dp/1423822838
All I can find for 2015 is a RescueBots one and two different AOE ones (naturally the cheaper one is the uglier one, but I cant find the better one for less than $30 shipped so may wait until they flog them off cheaper in a few weeks ;))
That was it. I've seen it at Big W too
Heh - I shoulda checked this thread again as I forgot I asked and just ordered him online :o:p
I hope he wasn't under $10 at Big W - I just managed to get him for $10 including shipping by popping him in with my Amazon order of the Protectobots Emergency Response 3-pack. Now though I will have to wait a couple of weeks rather than getting him on Monday when we visit Big W in Mildura
Pretty sure they are like 19 bucks or so at Big W man
Bigw have them as well.
