Just thought that the continuing popularity of Grimlock and Swoop would see their use, plus that would give the set "named characters" so then lesser known or region exclusive or comic exclusive characters could be used for the other set members.

For some reason distant past makes me think of Orion Pax. They could reuse the Kup mold like they did with the Ehobby G1 reissue. He'd fit in great with Botcon Alpha Trion and TFCC Dion.

The Orion Pax idea is very plausible as the cartoon has massive influence with Funpub and most US fans. However at the same time, they have been known to go beyong geewun and giving us some good stuff from the Marvel G1 universe.
