If just looking at those two photos: the shoulders are different in the presentation photo, as are the windows on the car doors (they don't look like they fold down), the windshield is missing behind the head with a different bit of the car behind it, the head is bigger, and the chest and the groin are slightly different (but could be mistransforms)
I wonder if some of these presentation photos are earlier prototypes but have already been told that's not the case with Cliffjumper.
The feet are identical, but the upper body and arms have differences. But one could be an early mock-up, making there be only one mould produced.
After re-consideration, I can see the differences you guys have pointed out, I think the chest area has been transformed differntly, the paint apps on the bonnet are in differnt spots.
the shoulders do seem to be different, and the windscreen area is definitely differt in robot mode.
I guess time will tell as to whether the presentation one turns up later down the track.
here's a small review
the related comic makes a comment regarding a future version that's different as well.
Just got my Bumblebee in the mail, and the official images of the First Edition isn't entirely transformed properly. There is a swivelling shoulder joint that hides the wheels, but the Wave 1 Bumblebee definitely has a different neck and stomach. The arms and legs appear to be the same though... so maybe a slight redesign occurred after the First Edition moulds were created.
It's a damn fiddely toy though, so could do with a bit of simplification to make it less frustrating and more fun to play with.
If the Wave 1 figure does indeed come with two guns, it is one extra gun to the First Edition version... and would require remoulding of the engine block (as noted in the NYCC pics) because there is only room for one gun underneath, and not able to plug in on the engine block on the FE version.
(and mine came with 2 left thighs :( )
