hmmm you prolly need to keep a lookout for the optimus monkey( cybertron series) coz hes the monkey with the jet powered surfboard, it'd fit perfectly with the look plus its an official TF accessory/weapon so it'd match. NIce work lcz128!

Hahah I'm trying to perfect the sealing technique first - trying to reduce rubbing paint-scrapage. So, once that's figured out, we'll be able to move forward! Am very excited bout this one though :D

Thanks Pulse! I agree! There's more detail for the chest that will be going in now that the paint's dry :) (and STL's very right about it not being dry yet and hence I didn't chuck one of my cool reprolabel stickers on :D)

We looked around. lcz128 doesn't like the skateboards much per se and I agree, wrong shape and not natural enough which is what the surfboard gives.

And I'm first in line, mind you. :p

Got them already from a while back - just need to dig em up again too :D
And yeah- Skateboards aren't the same. Shape's far too diff.

Thanks for the linkage. I need to see how much the surfboards in person and what size they are. a lot of the links you posted would work for a larger scale beachcomber- not the scout size that he is. :\ and I don't intend the surfboards to be so... loud :b Am probably going to go with a simple looking surfboard :D

THat's a really good idea... but again the size of that board would be way larger than Beachcomber :\ Scout size is... too small for that- For a deluxe sized one though - ... which would work if I tried out that Landmine-->Beachcomber custom (I've been planning on that anyway :D)

AND! I am probably going to be doing more spraying of paint onto seaspray... I think it'll work better considering the mould. :D Stay tuned!

No!!! I even went into a surfshop today and couldn't find ANY surfboard keyrings... Maybe they're not cool enough anymore. :(

Just a thought... If we have this convention thing next year I think one of you customiser guys should run a workshop there. I would love to learn how to do these cool things.
