Had to change ours too but there wasn't any fuss beyond having to come up with something that'd fit their new criteria for passwords, I think I went through close to 7 variations before landing upon one they'd accept! :p

I hate changing passwords! Always forget them.:o
I reset mine no probs - I didn't even twig until I read this thread that others had had to and ebay did it all because of a security problem :o

I can't help but think this is part of the PRISM program the USA government & affiliated bodies are using to hoover up our information.

Pretty annoyed that they haven't emailed out this info, I only heard about it a couple of days ago off the news....
The email notification has indeed been pretty woeful; We changed our password the day that local media started reporting it but we noted absolutely no email correspondence from eBay, upon trying to log in we were prsented with a relevant notice & the procedure begun from that point. ;)
We followed everything required, changed the password, then 3 days later we received an email from eBay informing us of the hack & that our password requiring changing!? :confused:
Seems very much a case of the left hand not speaking to the right in this instance. :rolleyes:
