I look as Animated Laserbeak as something like an Action Master companion: a robotic drone that becomes a weapon (well musical instrument) for a Transformer.
It's name is listed on the card in the places were accessories usually are listed. In fact Laserbeak doesn't get a bio, a function, an appearance in the cartoon, nor is it even referred to as a Decepticon.
If I see something that shows Laserbeak to actually be a Transformer and not just a fancy accessory I'll count it as two, but until that day I say one.
I like Machine Men and Barbie.
I would count them as 1 toy but 2 characters. :o
Two of everything.
- They don't depend on each other for any mode. Any old bot can pick up a guitar.
- They both have their own names. This alone should end the debate.
- They both transform into their own things independant of each other (first point).
