Dont you have to use masking tape on those bits? It's fiddly but it covers quite well the spots you want covered.Quote:

Looks very nice, even with his brake lights and everything left unpainted, he still looks much better than the normal Hasbro version.
In the first pic you can see some fine line tape its only about 4mm wide i used that and a razor blade to tape out the windows.Quote:

And yes Gamblor it is Giallo Midas Pearl. I had to use a a Lambo colour :D
here's a quick summary of what for whoever wants to know, after pulling him apart i lighly sanded the parts with P1200 wet sand paper. after which i used antistatic prepsol to clean it up.
Then once i set up all the pieces for painting i put plastic primer on followed by the underground colour which is just a solid yellow after that i then put on the basecoat colour which has the pearl part of it in it. And after that all of that i put on the clear and then left it to harden up in the spray booth at work. And put all back together when i got home.

I wasnt sure how it was gonna turn out but now that ive done one i wanna do more but might have to find my airbrush so i can do it at home.
+1 QFT! All this effort to make it look like Henkei. :D Yeah, you should paint the gun and air intakes mithral silver - closest thing to chrome unless you want to actually splash out for real chrome paint.Quote:
