That's how I looked at it on the weekend. Cancelled my order with EB that was starting to look like it would not be supplied and grabbed what I saw in front of me.

The irony of it then immediately dropping in price is delicious though :)

Is that the same ecto 1 as the box version?

I paid about $80 for the first Ectotron. They really tried to squeeze the money out of it doing a 2nd version.

No they are different. The boxed version is on the left. The newer on on the right

The boxed one is supposed to homage the classic 80s movie, while the carded one is supposed to homage this year's new movie with the rusted deco.
