Man there is some damn fine news coming out in the last few days and is hard to keep up with it. Just went and found the scans of the magazine - I am a little disapointed with G2 Laser Prime, but Perceptor, Scourge, Wreck Gar and even Trailblazer (should have been a deluxe) all look awesome.

EDIT: News about MP Rodimus without the trailer is both good and bad.
The trailer is needed for Rod's alt mode but not for anything else. There is no way that Hasbro could sell Rodimus in stores for even $100US yet alone the $190US Takomy are selling him for with the trailer.

More to do with keeping the retail cost reasonable, which is why Hasbro never released an equivalent of MP-4 Convoy.

Would be harder for them to convince retailers to stock a full set with trailer due to the high price it would command, especially when it's not likely to fly off shelves like other Transformers they can stock instead.

maybe Hasbro AU will release TOMY MP Rodimus here as a Target exclusive...

...I wouldn't hold my breath for it though (-_-)

If it were financially viable, I'd like to get both, so I can leave Hasbro's as Hot Rod and Tomy's as Rodimus Prime

I dunno, sure G2 Prime sounds nice, but it is yet another Prime.

OOooh, I wanna see them pics. And can't wait for the inevitable Scourge (Nemesis Prime) repaint. As for the Hasbro Rodimus vs Takara Rodimus I think I'll go for the Takara one.
