wow... thats one awesome price for a KO

What are the differences (apart from the quality of the toy) of this KO compared to the real thing? (like sticker apps etc)
Though the user-guidelines to this thread are against the advertising or encouragement to purchase KO's, my philosophy about KOs is this - if you're thinking about buying one - buy one, play with it and then you will get from first-hand experience the inferiority of its quality in comparison to the real thing. Then you'll learn to not probably buy one ever again.
Sure, some KOs may be of decent (or even up to par) quality but can you really live with owning a fake and not the geninue thing? (I know I can I have a KO VF-1S figure! lol)
It's my opinion dude that people should be allowed to purchase whatever they'd like - It is a free country after all.
To promote the purchase of KO things though is a moral judgement and many feel here that it is wrong because it is basically promoting theft, theft from those hard working HasTakTom Geniuses who design our beloved TF Products.
In regards to the KO Oversized Soundwave, I believe there is no difference in terms of the actual Mould apart from the fact it's been scaled up to the size of a Masterpiece - That and obviously the stickers on Soundwave, Ravage and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw are wrong/fake.
Give me some time and you'll find out. Haven't even got him off the card yet, but I can tell you this:
-Both his transformation and articulation appear to be identical
-Clearly based off his TRU exclusive reissue (double-sized door, Fortress Maximus layout on Ravage, etc.)
-Red optics
-Has about 7 tiny 'missiles' on his shoulder cannon that appear to do nothing
-Can attach to your belt
-Only a single (non-firing?) missile. No cassette covers like the reissue
-Ravage has NO feet articulation. And you thought posing the original was tough
-Still chromed
EDIT:
It's Laserbeak for this release. Sorry, Buzzsaw fans.
Ask and you shall recieve:
Here's the now-infamous G1 oversized Soundwave.

Ohh-er, seems the images are a bit oversized too. Ah well. That just means you get more detail. Here's the backing card, and like many KO's, it claims to be the combination of 5 figures. Sure fooled the seller.
http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/2029/sw01.jpg
Looks pretty big, especially when compared to WFC Soundwave's box. Not bad for $10, as opposed to WFC's $25.
http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/4863/sw03.jpg
Freedom at last!
http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/9423/sw04.jpg
Here's Ravage in tape mode, complete with his reissue stickers. Now he's ready to reveal the weaknesses of any Fortress Maximus reissues or KO's.
http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6108/sw05.jpg
Robot mode. Good luck posing his kitty, and you'll see why later if you already have not.
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/5246/sw06.jpg
Release: Complete. Weight: Light.
http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/8734/sw07.jpg
Articulation: Average.
http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/9572/sw08.jpg
And here are his weapo-hey! Doesn't one look a tad bigger than the other?
http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/2962/sw09.jpg
Why yes it does! If you find his tip annoying, it can be removed with your fingernails. This is advised highly, as such a modification will be vital later.
http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/1928/sw10.jpg
And before you ask, both do extend out. No launcher though.
http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/2166/sw11.jpg
Here's Laserbeak! Sorry Buzzsaw fans.
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1320/sw13.jpg
Robot mode. Once again, no change in articulation.
http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/4393/sw14.jpg
Weapons now added.
http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/9175/sw15.jpg
Alongside his original. Please not that original Laserbeak is the smaller one.
http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/1857/sw16p.jpg
And back to Ravage in tape mode with accessories.
http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/8992/sw17.jpg
Look close. See that his rear leg is bent out? That helps to pose him, but can damage Soundwave's door.
http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/1002/sw18.jpg
Another shot, just to clarify his damage. Just a reminder that he came like this.
http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/3712/sw19.jpg
Robot mode again. Still have not figured it out yet? Well, the problem is that he's got NO feet. Amazingly this oversized KO has DEvolved. One might have hoped that with so much figure to work, they might have given a few more features. Wishful thinking, as it makes him even HARDER to pose.
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/6360/sw20.jpg
Alongside the original. They're on the left.
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/7241/sw22.jpg
'Cos I'm stuck in the middle with you! KO Ravage between his original, and 2008 Universe figure. Gives new meaning to "3 Bodies of Evolution". :p
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/6927/sw23.jpg
Another size comparison. Ravage laughs at your lack of feet.
http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/6627/sw24.jpg
Soundwave's basic pose, an-WAIT! Is that another cassette in his chest? Could it be... a free extra figure?! Buzzsaw? It's...
http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/7022/sw25.jpg
...Just a piece of cardboard resembling Ravage. Bummer.
http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/6466/sw26.jpg
Close-Up time! Notice how Soundwave has red eyes, but they're not placed on his eye mold. They've been shifted lower.
http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/5803/sw27.jpg
Next to original Soundwave (or reissue if you're going to be like that). He's not THAT big in comparison.
http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/391/sw28.jpg
Nope, it's not worth over $140 U.S. Dollars. Tag-Team. Can't have a shot without Laserbeak perched on their shoulders.
http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6986/sw30.jpg
And before I forget, here is a size comparison of Laserbeak's. Note how the bigger KO has a deeper shade of red on their back.
http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/9448/sw31.jpg
Yes, his door can open, but is void of a proper spring. It will only spring open when both figures are inside.
http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/1446/sw32.jpg
Remember when I said that Soundwave's red tip should be removed? Here's why. It won't fit in his back.
http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/3624/sw33h.jpg
Ah, finally got them in. Now to slide his cover on.
http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/9092/sw34.jpg
Look carefully at the bottom. No matter how hard you try, the cover will NOT fit. Ever. Further attempts will surely break the figure.
http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/892/sw35.jpg
And proof that I'm not bluffing. Check out his bulging cannons.
http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5872/sw36.jpg
Though original Soundwave's cannons fit perfectly.
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/5637/sw37.jpg
Tape Player mode. How iconic! Transformation is identical.
http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/6020/sw38.jpg
Wait! Notice how his foot is just too narrow to lock into place? Don't fret.
http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/1350/sw39.jpg
Loosen the screw on his foot (same place as the original) and it should fit perfectly without loosening the joint.
http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/6492/sw40.jpg
More size comparisons. Party!
http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/1064/sw41i.jpg
Just because he's MP sized, doesn't mean he's big enough to challenge MP Optimus. Uh-Oh!
http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/818/sw42.jpg
Though you CAN reenact the fight between him and Soundwave perfectly in 'Auto-Bop'. FIIIIIIIIGHT!
http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/795/sw43.jpg
And there you have it.
Thanks for the pics :) I might see if I can find one at the markets this weekend and use him for my first ever custom.
Wow! Even the pictures are "Oversized"!
:eek::p
