The sensible thing for me too do is
#buy united Wreck Gar
#buy e-hobby Scrapheap
#Buy hasbro Wreck-gar repaint
therefore three completely different characters :D
Great toy! I really appreciate Hasbro tackling the challenge of delivering us a G1-ish Wreck Gar and I declare that they have done really well. The greatest highlight is Wreck Gar's face sculpt. It is divine. Overall he is an awesome homage to G1 Wreck Gar
Main gripes are
-front wheel is very loose so he doesn't roll happily and can look like its whacked out of alignment.
-front wheel despite being loose cannot be detached at all, woulda liked a tyre shield like the original movie.
-bit where toes lock together in alt mode looks terrible, but i'll accept this over robot mode instability.
-paint app lies on official box art, photoshop enhancement is one thing, outright omission advertised paint apps is another.
That's why I prefer TakaraTOMY's toy photography. Usually far less doctored than Hasbro's and looks way closer to the actual toy.

It's a nice looking Wreck-Gar in both modes, but transforming his legs back to motorbike mode reached the "throw it down in frustration" stage for me. I look forward to a repaint for the Junkion riding mode.
For those of you that own him, are there any problems with your shoulder joints? I found this over at TFW, and hope it is not widespread.
Oh and apparently you can rotate the wheel on his arm to make it similar to a shield.

I just got my RTS Wreck-Gar and noticed that the wheel on his shoulder is removable. It's connected via a ball joint and a tab to hold it in place. You can either unhitch the tab and rotate the wheel down like a shield, or remove it altogether and have him hold it in his hand as a melee weapon.
