KO Dino Cassettes
The two are light compared to the original cassettrons, the plastic is of same quality as that of the previously released KOs of Rumble/Lazerbeak which feels light to touch and kinda weak plastic but not easy to break thank goodness. The screws and rivets are not perfect on my pieces. Most of the screw heads have been worn out prolly when the factory worker assembling it used a strong setting for the electric screw driver. The joints are not too tight , some are a bit loose but it'll do. The detailing on the mold is clear - not very crisp but just right by me. they look pretty bland to be honest without stickers on. I havent tried putting the stickers on - Ill reserve that on my day off so I wont be hurried and mess it up. Dunno if these stickers are that good as well - ill comment on that when I apply them. Good thing I wasn't expecting much as I know these re KOs but overall Im very pleased and that they display well with the other original cassettrons makes me a happy owner.:D:D:D Now for the pics - pardon for those with slower internet :o:o It comes with a couple of accessories which are chromed but you can easily tell it's a KO chrome. the combined mode is, meh. But then, I guess even in the original the combined mode is meh looking. Overall they did a pretty good work on these tapes. Can't wait for the other 2 to come out. I give it an 9/10 KO points.:)

I'm so impressed by how quickly it arrived. I wasn't going to rush ordering, hoping that I could combine with the next lot of cassettes, but after seeing your pictures.... gosh darn it..... I've just got to go order now.
Is that white and gold condor/frenzy a KO as well. I've never seen those colours before.

Some more pics with the stickers applied. Thank goodness for tweezers:p. The stickers are of same foil quality as those used for original cassettrons, nice and sticky hopefully these last and dont peel quickly... not sure if there's a reprolabels available ( at least for back up in the future). With the addition of the stickers, they don't look so plain anymore and it helps hide/cover most of the worn out looking screwheads/rivet heads. It fits well in the cassette player. Not too tight. I wouldve used Blaster but mine keep getting it's deck door stuck and Im reluctant to pry it open as I might break it and end up needing to buy another:rolleyes:

Love these guys so much! mine have nice tight joints which is good, Only problems i have had have been little. Weapons a little tight to peg in so just sanded down the chrome and had to trim down some of the stickers a tiny bit.
But over all if your thinking of getting them do it! there awesome and can't wait for the other 2 :D

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how much the originals of these sell for these days, like say if you found them in a Japanese collectibles store like Hero Gangu or Mandarake (Hero Gangu's prices are stupidly overpriced IMHO) -- but still, I wonder how they'd compare...

My friend brought these back from Japan on his latest trip and while they are not original G1 cassettes, they are the best you can get for under $3,000!
The originals command ridiculous prices and these are in BRAND NEW, NEVER TRANSFORMED condition with minty CHROME WEAPONS!!
I do have another set I have opened and played with and the joints are not super tight, though they will hold poses and will display nicely!
These cassettes also combine to form Legout!
The sticker sheets are even unused!
I think it's the term 'Re-Issue' that throws a lot of people off as it has a sound of 'sanctioning' about it, where in reality they are purely stolen property. :o
I agree that research is key, but these KO's should never of gone for anything over $40 Max IMO. ;)
