Battle ravage...
MP Sideswipe, broken in box. Woo.
:confused:The box was damaged in transit damaging the figure or was the figure missed by the QC:confused:
I recommend keeping this one MISB, Crankcase. Or just transform it to robot mode and then never touch it again! :p

Thanks to Gutsman Heavy
You bet dude, not even taking him out.... Read your post and have to agree, they are not really engineered well for the transformation stages. But in the vechile mode they look good enough to pass for display purposes. So this guy will be MISB and most of the others that I am collecting, I have open up a few of the ones I started to collect when they first appeared of our shelves but it wasn't long before they went back in there packaging.:D:eek:Quote:

mp thundercracker
and whilst it hasnt arrived yet ( or been posted for that matter :( )
g2 orange devastator ( one of my grails )
I think Grimlock's worth taking about and transforming at least once or twice. The transformation does suck because it's just so counter-intuitive, but I do like how they've tried to bulk up the robot mode to give it an impressive sense of size (looks weird on Wheeljack though... as if he's on 'roids :p). JMHO. ;)
Thanks Goki:D, I love the alternators line they look great or otherwise I would not be trying to find them. The only problem is display area, the better half has allocated a small book shelf to display all my TF's and at the moment its full of Prime, G1 & Reissue, GDO, and MP's. So can argue with the BOSS.

This neat little guy arrived today - Custom RTS Bumblebee in G1 Megatron's colour scheme (more pics via Action Pose Thread) :) He'll be named MEGABUMBLE :D

I personally really liked the Wheeljack transformation scheme, i thought it was nice for it to be a bit outside the box. using the seats as feet was inspired.
as for display space I have one set of shelves, and it's becoming a museum space, certain things on display with other items in storage. I'd suggest that the majority of my collection is boxed up at the moment. but this is to make room for Prime figures and Classics figures incoming.
i got Kreo Galvatron, Sunstorm, Spinister and the car one who's name I've already forgotten.. the other day. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/...1-01075121.jpg
^It's Crankstart (I only know that because he's the only one I haven't been able to find)
G1 Kup thanks to Jena
4 packs of 1985 Action Cards. Only one double, so I didn't do too badly.
TF: The IDW Collection Vol 7
What does Galvy look like without the chestplate?
Much better, actually. They're all either more detailed or accurate without the armour:

Scorponok, Spinister and Waspinator are arguably/mildly better with the armour because it connects to their characteristic kibble.
i got some new stuff

been a bit of a dry spell!!
After a reasonable break from TF acquisitions,
MISB Optimal Optimus from eBay. :D It looks so cool and shiny! My first ever Beast Wars toy.
I am toying with the idea of not opening it…
That Galvatron looks superb like that.
OpOp is a seriously FUN toy! :D Just be careful not to shoot your eyes out. ;)
That's a big purchase for your first BW TF :D That chrome does look superb with it being pristine and not flaking :p
That's how I've got MISB Cryotek, Depth Charge, Rampage, TM2 Blackarachnia clogging my room for the last 2 years :( So tempted to free them to open up some space for myself..
mebbe Im not just looking, but Ihaven't found any of these Kreons... which store are they out already?:p
Gave in and bought a G2 Bruticus:

So far, not impressed by the cheap looking plastic  but at least the G2 box is cool
I thought the same thing. It was such a waste having the accurate character details painted on the figures, only to have them covered up.
It's one of the not-Throttlebots ;)
Got a FoC Jazz from K-Mart.
Finally got my Masterpiece Lambor today. The plastic tyres make a cool sound when you roll him across a wooden desk.
Shining some light on his face:

I think I'm just being paranoid with the chrome parts :p Had TM Megatron (T-rex) as a kid and played it with quite a bit without issue; lately I've had TM2 Megatron out of package and have transformed him a few times without any issues or flaking.
Maybe a forum member that's played with BW TM's more often in recent years can shed some light on the chrome's degradation?
