Release date info
Just got off the phone to TRU H/O & was informed that there will be a slight delay.
Release dates have been pushed back to "early to mid June".
Can't wait! Thanks for the continued updates.
Yeah. Thanks a lot dude.:cool::D
Pushed back to early-mid June? That's earlier than what I thought. Thanks for the info sinnertwin.
Thanks, hope I can secure a soundwave.
It's not too far off now, we're already in April! Cheers sinner, you're a champ.
Yeah, doesn't seem like too long now.
I just realised that Voyager Blitzwing and Springer come out this month!:o
Actually, I think we will get them here, seeing as it's the 30th Anniversary Theme and all, but you never know. ;)
That is extremely cheap though! Good deal for both. :D:cool:
Ya know... I've never really thought about it, but I think you're right!
I read Spaceballs waaaaaaay back in 1987. Read it before I ever saw the movie, which would've been a year or two later when I rented it on VHS. I guess it just stuck in my mind and I've been using it for so long that I completely forgot about where I got it from! :o
But yeah, the book is highly santised and I didn't even know it had any swear words in it until after I watched the film. But it was still massively funny and made me laugh my butt off. ;)
"Who made that man a gunner?!"
"I did sir, he's my cousin!"
"Who is he?"
"He's an Idiot, sir."
"I know that, what's his name?"
"That is his name, sir. Idiot, Major Idiot."
"And his cousin?"
"He's an Idiot, too, sir. Gunner's-mate, 1st Class, Philip Idiot."
"How many Idiots we got on this ship, anyhow?"
"YO!"
"I knew it. I'm surrounded by Idiots. Keep firing, Idiots!"
:D
Very excited for this figure. Layby's r easy at toys r us yeah?
Have any TRUs accepted any requests to put one aside yet for Soundwave?
I might try sometime next week at my TRU.
I asked about that last time I was in store, they don't do it any more.
Now they have a similar type of layby system as everyone else, terms and conditions are below.

- A minimum deposit of 10% of the total of the Lay-Buy is required
- Regular payments must be made fortnightly or weekly as part of the Lay-Buy payment plan
- Lay-Buy payment plans can be 8 to 24 weeks in length, choose between online payment or in person at any Toys"R"Us store in Australia
- A $2.90 Service Fee will be charged for each Lay-Buy per month. This allows you access to the Certegy site and online payment option. This monthly Fee is non refundable.
- Your Lay-Buy must be collected by the due date
- Toys"R"Us have the right to cancel your Lay-Buy without notice if you become 21 days in arrears
- Individual items may not be separated from a Lay-Buy parcel
- Toys"R"Us do not accept Amex or Diners card for Lay-Buy
- Toys"R"Us have the right to store your Lay-Buy off site
- Final payment must always be made at the store the Lay-Buy was created at
- Prior to final payment, 5 working days notice is required for parcel collection. - Please contact your Toys”R”Us store to arrange a parcel pick up date.
- Photo ID is needed when you commence a Lay-Buy, cancel a Lay-Buy or finalise a Lay-Buy.
Cheers for the update, DH
Yeah guys thanks for the info. $200 minimum, early Christmas shopping!
The layby is done by an external company, and from what I've seen the stores HATE it....
Wifey and i wanted to layby the babies cot and carseat when we were expecting, so they could store and I pick up when needed.... They gave a 20% discount if I skipped the layby and took it there and then
Wrote down the SKN and the numbers of all nearby TRU stores. I shall retrieve the masterpiece this time!;)
(Determined)
Start putting cash aside now... then when it comes out just buy it straight. :)
Geez, i hope we will get some up here at the Riff as well, i'm going to be checking in regularly with my TRU so i don't miss out.:D
I've got my credit card ready
I reckon it'll be a good idea to bulk buy most/all and hold for other members on the board. I intend to do so at Northlands TRU.
Just wish TRU Australia would allow preorders like TRU Japan on Acid Storm. It was one of the most humiliating, annoying and time wasting efforts I have ever gone through to find Prime and Thundercracker.
I suggested they do a preorder similar to how they did it for the Skylanders Giants game, and just got a generic vague response back. I really hope the scalper in my area who bought up 6 at at time gets his hand (head) jammed in his car door.
I'm around Parramatta (and should still be by the time these come out if it's not delayed any further), I managed to grab both a TC and OP last time, so I will see what's available there again this time when they're available.
Pre-orders would be awesome though.
I think this would be a good way for people on the forum to get them. We beat the scalpers at their own game. Any that don't find a home can be returned to the shop.
I would have been happy if a local member had bought up all the MP Primes at TRU and then offered them here...maybe then I'd have one.
Like I said, bulk buy and hold for people like you, no profit gained, just save us the trouble of finding it in store.
I never even saw MP TC in TRU, would of been good if someone bought me one and held it for me.
+1
The problem is living in a world of credit, where the peice still being in store helps me more than picking up from a board member
Is there a firm-ish release for mp soundy?!?
