He could be both... or maybe it is just white/grey in the movie (if he's evading capture, he wouldn't be red & blue), and since the Voyager toy is in the "collector" line, Hasbro chose to release it in Gen1 colours just to interest the fans.

Ahh voyager class not a flipchanger
There were two shown at the Toyfair Display - Voyager (for us) and One-Step changer (for the kiddies).
It was odd to see so many Lockdown toys, but only one Stinger toy, and two Galvatron toys... and no other Decepticon characters, at least in the first two waves.
The display shelves in my room will be 4 Autobot shelves to 1 Decepticon shelf if this ratio continues.
I was reading this again from collecticon.org
http://www.collecticon.org/2014/02/t...2014-spoilers/
Interesting read that, which pretty much says what we've been noting here from our observations.... just in a condensed posting.
By the new trailer that seems right, like he starts off wild and Prime proves himself mighty and wins him over.
The new trailer also seems to show humans are building Transformers. This was speculated about wasn't it? Bumblebee seems to be looking at a showroom model of one (well two, one in each mode). Perhaps these become the foot soldiers for the Decepticons via remote control/rewiring etc. these sparkless abominations.
I hope the human anti-Transformer Men in Black are called RAAT. I really hope so! But my first thought was they were Alice style Decepticon pretenders.
I'm guessing AOE will be taking some cues from the Skywatch story line of IDW G1. God I hope Bay doesn't call the MIBs Skywatch.
That man-made bot in the showroom is Deception Stinger, I'm guessing he was the only prototype made and finished and at some point turns evil and obeys Galvatron or Lockdown. I'm guessing Galvatron was built by the humans, I think they took Megatrons corpse and fixed him up , but Megatrons brain was still intact but somehow the humans restarted it or something which created Galvatron, and he took over the factory and started making those fugly Vehicon drones and he took Stinger under his wing.
Oh and by the looks of it the humans are hunting Transformers because they think theirs are better and therefore by the trailer Ratchet dies, Optimus and Bee get new looks to disguise themselves too. There you have it, Ratchet survived 3 movies protecting humans only to get slaughtered by them in the end. I would have much preferred Lockdown to be the one to end Ratchets life, as a little Animated reference there.:D I'm also guess Dino and Sideswipe were killed too.
I was thinking if they are going to have a factory with human-made transformers, maybe they could also reference a toy factory in the movie producing some merchandise for the kids and even show a toy shop full of vehicon toys shelf warming instead of bumblebees :p
One thing I'd really love to see happen, is Bay getting Lance Henrikson to do the role of Lockdown, because he did a great job in Animated as Lockdown... sounding deliciously evil.
Thinking about the impact of the movies characters on the comics and what may or may not be coincidences...
spoilers for all IDW published comics to date...
Lockdown... reappeared in MTMTE just prior to Dark Cybertron
Hound.... elevated prominently in Dark Cybertron from background character to command of the Lost Light
Slug... don't call me Slag anymore as of Dark Cybertron
Galvatron... came back in Dark Cybertron, may take over command of the Decepticons
Drift... exiled from the Lost Light, with the movie coming I'm expecting him to reappear soon
Grimlock... last seen with the Scavengers, like Drift with the movie coming I would expect him to reappear.
Optimus Prime... no longer a Pax and heading back to Earth
Bumblebee... taken off the playing board in somewhat odd timing.
Ultimately, Hasbro will pull strings on any of their licenses, if it suits their "unified Global marketing" of the Brand. After all, the old comics had to keep introducing the new toys of that year... and it looks like IDW are being forced to do the same with theirs, with a number of characters sporting toy forms before the toy came out.
Bumblebee is indeed odd timing, but in 3-4 issues he could be brought back, and it would still be Movie "season".
Something unrelated...
When was it officially announced that Lockdown's ship had a name (Nightship)?
Did it come from a toy packaging, like the Kreo set... or was it in a press release I skipped over?
MTV UK & TF Facebook, from the looks of it

I don't know if this is news-worthy enough for its own topic here as it is a minor American DVD release, so will just post it here for now (and move it to it's own topic if there ends up being interest).
Gen1 Dinobots DVD from Shout Factory.
Everyone is jumping on the Dinbot bandwagon this year to cash in on this year's movie theme, and Shout Factory (the American company with the Transformers DVD license) is no exception.
Out in America in July will be a special DVD of 6 Gen1 Dinobot episodes, so we might see the same thing from Madman here as well.
6 eps.... I'd guess: SOS Dinobots, War of the Dinobots, Dinobot Island 1 & 2 and Desertion of the Dinobots 1 & 2
Not a bad disc really. Classics like Grimlock's New Brain will have to be left out though.
I know we have lockdown confirmed, but apart from that we know galvatron is a human puppet ie tf prime nemesis prime, and stinger appears to be human built as well. So will the humans be the third faction similar to mech in tf prime. I know most of the decepticons on earth were killed at the end of dotm, and there's lots more out there. But I'm starting to think the decepticons won't be a big bad in aoe
In this auto show clip, of some of the movie cars, there is a white hatchback with blue racing stripes. Anyone know if that is a robot character, or is it just one of the racing cars that belongs to the boyfriend of the main female character (who's a race driver)?
There is suggestion that it is a Vehicon.... but I thought there would be more than one if it was true.
Just don't remind Grimlock of Jurassic Park 3 :p
This was pretty spot on

I'd love to know how Dinosaurs end up wearing Jousting & other Medival headpieces...
A possibility that Drift is a villain at some point in the Movie???... either to start with (like Jetfire & Wheelie) or later (like Sentinel Prime).
If it follows the IDW Drift, it is likely to be starting as a Decepticon who has to earn redemption.
Now there's an original idea!!!
Watched the new teaser (the Imagine Dragons one)
Cool new scenes but the more I see of these teasers the more I doubt the Dinobots will have robot modes in the movie :(
I've just got this feeling.
And I know only two (three?) Dinos have been seen at all and there's plenty of movie for them to appear, but the lack of any sort of art of the robot modes too... Makes me think the knights, like the individual colour schemes, are a toy thing.
You may be right about the Dinos. I think it may have been a marketing move by Hasbro to introduce colour as opposed to what we've seen them look like simply for kiddy appeal factor
I also think that at least one of the Dinobots will be destroyed along with some of the others
If at any point Prime rides in on Grimlock and starts smashing up the joint, it will be only a metter of days before we get the footage to the tune of wrecking ball.
I'll be happy to see more Dinobots than Grimlock on the screen. Just have a feeling that we will get about 8 seconds each for Slag and Snarl, let alone any of the others.
Sounds like TFPrime Season 3... HEAVILY marketed as a season of Predacons, but we only had one in the whole season, and then two others in the finale story that weren't even toys that most people could easily buy.
I can only imagine the fan response if the Dinobots' total screen time was something like 3 minutes & 37 seconds...
Maybe the movie starts with Op finding Grimlock, tries to ride him and ends up killing him from a long sleep on earth. Then the age of extinction begins and we have a 23 second flashback of dinobots in their glory. Seriously though, I so hope we get a lot of dinobots, and a lot of transformations :D
