For this year though, it is probably recommended getting insurance anyway, because if you lose one in the mail, it is likely to cost twice as much to buy a replacement later (based on BBTS prices, which will set the trend for minimum secondary prices like on ebay).
Bit the bullet and getting the set, I just couldn't say no :) Got insurance with it as well just to be on the safe side.
Maybe they've been noticing the comments about leaving their reveals too late, or they have just realised on their own that they are running out of time to do the full reveals for the fence-sitters to have enough time to decide on this expensive set... because an announcement was made today to say that the next three days will have all the final reveals. (leaving people just 2-3 days before subscription ends)

it's going to have to be spectacular for me to jump on board at this stage. I've missed the group order deadlines (which is fine) I've pretty much decided not to go ahead with it, it's up to them to change my mind and like you say, they've left it a bit late.
The full reveal of Bludgeon using the 2016 Onslaught mould, showing the truck mode, and comes with two swords from the Arms Micron Dragon (train) Optimus toy.
The colouring of the robot mode has changed a little from BotCon, as there is no pink/purple on the hands and shoulders now.
Looks good, I am looking forward to the reveal of the combined mode head. I bet it looks like ThunderwingQuote:

Impactor looks good in robot mode but I think they could have chosen a better alt-mode than Rooks. Guess they are determined to use the CW line though and this was what they thought was the closest. I reckon a retool of Brawl would have been better

FunPub are still forcing people to see their images through a certain website instead of putting it up on their own site, or just including the image with their announcement tweet.
To be fair, no one is forced to do anything they do not want to do. People can choose to not go there. I feel for those with weak bladders.

That is a disgusting colour scheme! The Thunderwing head looks ok not a huge fan but i think I, glad I'm not getting this TFSS, although I like Impactor

If it includes the die-cast matrix from MP Rodimus, of maybe 1000-odd units, that's quite an achievement to secure from Hasbro. It's not just the shipping, it's the logistics of only producing 1-2 thousand at a factory that is geared for hundreds of thousands, and moulds that have multiple parts, not just the guns. So the added hassle of picking out parts from whole toys would add to the cost of the factory being able to do it... plus the cost of specially shipping that small amount of parts or toys from different factories to the one location for construction or packing.

true it's a small run but I get the impression that weapons are commonly gated on moulds these days, unless they are entirely separate. the big expense would be the setup overhead for the mould and plastic for the short run. It's obviously something they can afford to do though.Quote:

Still no clarification on what is happening with the Club for 2016, as to why the membership is ending December 2016, and what that means for people who's membership expires mid-2016 (do they pay the same as those paying from January and only get part of the year for the same cost, or do they have to pay in January like everyone else and lose the overlap of months they are already covered for?).
Mine runs out in September. Really hope I do not need to renew for an entire year just to see it out.
