That reminds me... at BotCon a few months ago, I asked the main Hasbro guy (Jerry) - Masterpiece Coneheads retooled from the MP Seeker mould, is that something Hasbro can pressure TakaraTomy to do as they modified it once already?
His reply to me was - It's on our wish list, but nothing is planned.
That was four months ago, and with Hasbro claiming to not know about Generations changes or additions in Japan (like Groove and Devastator), it is possible that they didn't know about it back then for him to not be lying to me about it.
And since it is only four months ago, it is too recent for my query to be any sort of catalyst, as Jerry was taking notes of my questions and suggestions and seemed genuinely interested in MP Coneheads since that Seeker mould has been their most successful of the Masterpiece line.
Either way, it is pretty exciting to see Ramjet... and expect Dirge and Thrust later, to fill out the Decepticon MP ranks.
...and they're gone.
Kranix: It did the same thing for me when I went to the checkout but I kept plugging at it, adding it to cart, having it say sold out, adding it to cart again, until finally it let me through to the next step and paid no problem.
If you're really keen on one from PC that's the way to go ;)

Well I'm gonna be an Optimist Prime and hope that Ramjet (and all the other coneheads) will be more than just a limited edition, hard-to-find, scalped piece and that he'll eventually be readily available either through Hasbro Asia or US.
That's normal I expect RK bbts ehobby to have them and with coin at easily $280aust.
Question is this is a feb release and they release info on shockwave and hot rod first.

It's a retool of the MP-11 mold so it scales like all the other seeker jets. But the jets won't ever scale properly with MP-10 and other cars as they're way bigger in real life.Quote:

I thought I was the only one not gushing over this. You're right, the face looks weird and what they've done with the knees doesn't look right. It may grow on me but I can't help that feel that this is a half arsed attempt. Which is shame because I've never felt like that with a MP before. Even MP Megatron I like and have respect for.Quote:

I think everything looks spot on except for the face. It doesn't have the stubby look that the cartoon model has look. I know it's hard to do that, but one of the most iconic parts of the coneheads that separated them was that whole neck area that sloped, and this just doesn't have it.Quote:

I can't believe I'm not excited, I have always liked the coneheads. Thrust is my favourite. If this was a mainstream release I may care, I'm actually relieved it isn't so I can just avoid it for now.
I don't understand the numbering as this is not a mp-11 sculpt it should have been a totally new number. Yes I know is just numbers, get over it.
So is this confirmed for Feb or is it getting pushed back?
