Got one of the SDCC Obi-Wan's! :D
And I snapped off the lightsabre blade by accident and needed a bit of help from FB to get the leftover out, his blade is unique compared to the others in the line too :(

Nice score. I really want one of those Old Ben's
Nice one philby! I ordered one too on ebay, it's on the way from Malaysia.
Well its that wonderful time of year again. Where Vert plays lets see who will break Embargo Dates.
So far I found a ton of Rouge One stuff boxed up at Big W. So I helped myself.
Next up was the Two packs at Target. They were already hanging on a peg.

people from the US are posting on FB that a few kmarts have a new exclusive black series jyn on the shelf, but aren't letting people buy them. why put things out there if you aren't going to let people buy them  some people are getting through though.
SH Figuarts ANH Luke
http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l...psiewv7uop.jpg
my first S.H.Figuarts purchase and now I'm not 100% sure I even want it lol
i've seen 2 video reviews and while there are some differences and improvements, I'm not sure it's a certain 'this is way better than hasbro release' which i already have. I might think about it for a bit...

I received my SDCC Black Series Thrawn set and Luke/Landspeeder set. I took Thrawn out, tried to move his right elbow and the arm snapped off at the joint and went flying. Off to a great start :( Now I'm scared to open the landspeeder set!
SH Figuarts are great but I stick to human characters. For me, troops and droids are done pretty well in other forms. Plus easier to troop build. :P
But the human characters I've got are all non-regret purchases:\
- Jedi Luke
- ANH Luke
- Han Solo
- Mace Windu
- Ep I Obi Wan
- Ep II Anakin
- Epi II Padme
- have Ep I Qui Gonn coming this month
Also have the Iron Man 3 Tony Stark and Suicide Squad Harley Quinn, and both amazing. Really just look like a person has been shrunk down to that scale, rather than it being a toy of a person.
got my Black series Darth Vader helmet today from robotkingdom
makes different sounds depending on how much of the helmet is on
if you take the back and top off just leaving the breathing part on it makes the gasping breathing sounds
put it all together and it makes the normal vader breathing sounds.
also makes sounds when the bits connect.
The magnets that connect the bottom to the main face section are very strong. but the magnets that attatch to the top/back piece are not as strong as i would prefer
over all, this thing is awesome and is going to look great with my growing collection of starwars/marvel helmets
Bought Snoke for $24.00 from Big W today.

Hoth Solider seems to be the one to go faster than lightspeed off pegs.
Ooo nice!
I just got Hot Toys Kylo - he is coooooooool
Yeah Snoke is probably the only one I want from this line that I will get locally. I got 3 Hoth Troopers on preorder at BBTS. The rest don’t interest me (at the moment).
Picked up a Solo Force Link 2.0 Range Trooper the other day. That’s the only acquisition I’ve had but I’ve got heaps on preorder/laybuy:o
Edit: oh and a Lando Hot Wheels car from BigW:D
With persistence managed to get a Hoth Solider.

Dare you to peek under his gold robe :p
Yesterday I went and purchased the Solo soundtrack.
picked up the Black Series 6" Han Solo and Lando from TRU and the new Chewie from Myer; from the Solo spinoff wave.
I got the black series General Greivous figure from the Zing stand at fed square for star wars day, and a few others recently from Amazon
I picked up 6" Tarkin with his interrogator ball for $12 from The Reject Shop.
All my childhood SW figures were damaged and thrown out due to 'plastic sweat' :(
So, when I heard news of a reissue of the original 70s Kenner figures, I preordered as soon as I could.
Here it is, Retro Collection Darth Vader in a clamshell case in a ziplock bag :p from Dorksidetoys:

To me, the Vader figure itself looks just like the original figure, including an extensible light saber on its right arm.
The front of the card has the same graphics as the original card, with the addition of the appearance of wear and tear on the edges of the card. There's a large circular sticker (yes, it's a removable sticker) with the words 'Retro Collection'.
I am looking forward to a Retro Collection release of C3PO and R2-D2 in future waves.
Some vintage collectors seem to think so, and that's not restricted to SW collecting, but other toylines e.g. TF G1.
MISB/MOSC collectors who previously had no choice but to pay for a sealed vintage now having an option of buying a much cheaper minty reissue that looks very similar. I suppose adding the weathering effect to the card will differentiate the Retro from the original carded figures enough.
I can definitely see it from the MISB/MOSC collector point of view. For the casual collector, it's a good way obtain a replica of the original.
I picked up some 3.75? The Rise of Skywalker figures today (Rey, Poe, Knight of Ren and Sith trooper). Mildly surprised to discover there is no dedicated TROS line and it was released through the vintage series line instead.
I?ve been out of the loop in terms of Star Wars collecting but I didn?t realise 3.75 figures have been on the decline for several years now.
The 5 Points of Articulation figures that Hasbro has been making just not making enough return cause whilst they are not bad with sculpting Hasbro was trying to tell everyone that 5 POA was more than ok.
Guess kids and collectors voted with their feet to say no to that.
Black Series 6" Wedge Antilles.
Cool. The Myer I went to only had Black Series wave 33 and Archive wave 1. Did you import Clone Commander Fox?
The Yavin Ceremony Luke 'Skywalkwer' (sic) face printing looks much better in person compared to the in-box promotional images with excessive eye shadow!
Got the Black Series Heavy Infantry Mandalorian from Secret Santa yesterday. Pretty impressive looking figure!
Although i mostly collect Transformers but....
could no resist getting both Vintage Collection x wings (Luke Skywalker and Poe Dameron) from zing
and got Vintage Collection Wave 23 X Wing pilot Luke Skywalker and Poe Dameron from toysrus.com.au
I don’t know what bb8 and r2d2 that will fit the astro mech positions though?
I got the Takodana Encounter 4pk to get BB8 and got Vintage Collection R2D2 (battle damaged version) VC149 which is the one that goes with the Vintage Collection Luke X Wing as it is suppose to match the battle damage applications
Picked up black series Rey a couple of days ago. It's taken me quite a while to get past them not being Star Wars Figures (y'know, 3 3/4") but I'm finally warming up to these things.
Also the way every Rey I saw was packaged, hunched over to make room for her satchel behind her, looked so rubbish I seriously wavered on whether to get her at all - she's a whole new figure just standing up straight. And speaking of standing up straight I thought for a bit it was just the manufacturer genericising to save effort, but according to google Daisy Ridley and Gina Carano are pretty much the same height. Did they stand her on a box on set, or was it just wishful thinking on my part that Cara Dune's somewhere above 6'?
(For the record that brings the black series total to Rey, Cara, Rebels Ahsoka, Hutt-slayer Leia, and Whichever Sister.)
Some new gals from BBTS:

Shadow Weaver was actually the point of the order, but since I've been warming up to the black series at last I tossed in the ones that were going cheap when I ordered. Not sure why Padders apparently isn't popular, but maybe it's just been so long everyone's already got some other version of her. Or maybe nobody's interested if you can't see her abs. I don't like Space Khaleesi's pose I've got her in at the moment but I honestly can't remember enough about her to think of something more characterful than 'generic action stance'. Rose looks great though (give or take the awful hairdo).
