So it seems that the TF Wiki site doesn't work in older version of Firefox. Other than updating your version of Firefox there's not much else you can do as the problem is that their end.
i have 22" screen and its impossible to play computer games with such a large screen, is there like a program or way to reduce the dimensions of the screen so say make it 19" inch or use less of my screen (black space)
thanks
which game are you talking in particular to?
Normally there are options for you to configure the resolution size you want to play with in the games...try going to options/settings?
Otherwise, you can try changing you screen resolution under Display Properties on your desktop first if that's better down to 1280 x 1024 or lesser???
im typing stuff up on Microsoft Word
when i try and put in a background colour it doesnt show up on the print preview, the background is still white.
Will the colour be there when i print or not?
hmmmmmmmmmmmm, i can't see why it won't appear on Print Preview
try going into
1. File > Page Setup
2. Paper tab
3. Click on Print Options...
4. Print window with Print tab will appear....
Under Printing Options, tick Background printing and also
Under Include with document, tick Background colors and images?
Try that and let me know when you do print it!
Good luck
Hey guys, thinking of trying my hand at making a photo comic but want to know are there any programs to use that easy insert dialogue boxes?
if you are a Microsoft freak, you can simply use MS Word or Powerpoint.
They have the Drawing toolbar that comes with these "bubble" dialog boxes..
maybe gok or others who's done most comic scenes could advise
I use Paint Shop Pro.
Mostly because i've used it for years and can't be arsed getting Photoshop.
But PSP does a semi-decent job with dialogue boxes once you get the hang of them.
Paint Shop Pro = PSP!
Comic Life! (Mac)
I use MS Paint for everything. :)

Dear Unky Iceburn,
I am in desperate need of your help good sir. Last night as I was battling away on 2142 my game/comp froze between maps.
I Ctrl+Alt+Delete'd to end the game from there. Got the 'Program not responding, end now?' box. Clicked on it.
Was taking too long to do anything so I hit the power button.
Then when I tried to restart computer Windows wont load.
Get the black screen saying 'blah blah...with options 'Start in Safe Mode, Last known good configuration, Start Windows normally'.
Please Unky Iceburn, heed my whining and come to my aid. You helped my father in the Clone Wars. You're my only hope.:(
Pretty standard recovery option menu for when the computer isn't shut down properly.
Just choose start windows normally. Should be good.
So even safe mode won't work?
I'll leave it to icy to run you through a possible recovery reinstall.
I'd recommend the Corey Parker reboot method:

:p
Haha. Tried that too. Still didn't work.
I did like this guys reboot method though....

Maybe Iceburn should consider now charging for help?
DD...sorry but i don't think i can help you anymore and i might take a short break from the forum and my TF collection. will be around as and when....
That's ok mate. It's all good. Got a clan mate to fix things up for me.
Hope everything's ok on the homefront Icey!
Ok. I need help and this would probably be a good place to ask for it

My computer's having trouble working with the network.
I have resorted to hooking the ADSL router right into the PC through the USB cable we got with it.
My PC seems to be able to detect the network and everything on it. But as soon as I need to access something on the internet, or print something, it just wont load/do anything.
Couple of things we tested out:
The ADSL router and the Wireless router's network cable ports both work fine. We tested the connections by hooking up my brothers laptop and disabling his wireless connection, worked fine.
Tried hooking the ADSL router into the PC through the network port, didn't wok either.
Tried re-installing the drivers, didn't help (probably done wrong though)
so, can anyone help?
check connection to the Internet on your browser has been connected directly to the internet or automatically detect proxy settings for the network. try that...it might just be it.
check your TCP/IP connection too that it's obtain IP address and DNS server address automatically
Go to a command prompt and run: ipconfig
Paste back the results.
