thoughts on Scarecrow? I'm liking the look of that one!
I passed on him a number of times. They used to sell in Myers I think and I found some cheap but he just looked too skinny in the packet. Now that I see him next to some of his mates I do wish that I had picked one up.
Haha...I thought exactly the same thing Al. In other news I took Mr Terrific and Hawkgirl out of their packs and got them ready to send to you.
That Luthor looks nice Robzy. Different to mine but mine's packed away so I can't get him out to compare. What series is he from?
He's the DCSHs Luthor... and I passed on cheap ones of him too... and I now regret that! I'd actually like 2 of him so I could customise one.
Can't wait to get that Hawkgirl DD. Did you get your DCD one yet?
Well that sucks... for you.
But that is awesome for me. Thanks heaps man. My collection is all packed away at the moment but I may have to get some out to check out the line up when they arrive. Maybe I'll take some pics of my DCUC collection.
I know what one of the trade items is but you'll have to let me know what else you would like. ;)
EDIT: ... and I mean in the way of customs, cash, or other figures, and that's ALL!
He's way cooler than I thought he would be! Highly recommended! :)
Yeah, he's great. I used to see him all the time (Coles had him for less than $10 at one stage) but I never got in to the line until DCUC. It made me wanna go back and get all the good DCSH figures :o
That's the one! :) I'm a big fan of the design (having owned the Super Powers version as a kid) - I just wish you could take off the armour like the original.
My Super Powers Luthor was never truly appreciated until the Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely 'Earth 2' comic came out. After that he became my favourite figure in the line.
Anyway, getting envious over all your cool acquisitions Robzy and for the sake of extra space I decided to do away with the packaging of my DCUC wave 7 series.
I like them all except Aquaman because I've never read him in that outfit and I like my 'beard and hook' one better. Atom Smasher is freaking awesome.:)

Oh and my eldest came back from camp today and was allowed to open one of her own figures...
Great choice!

Great figures Digger! I'm still chasing The Flash.
I'm loving your Captain Cold and Big Barda figures too - they look great!
Hi guys, bit of a self plug, but I have an Ebay Auction for 4 DC figures that are in as new condition. The last lot of these guys only ended at around $10, so if you need any of these guys could be a chance to pick them up nice and cheap.
Thanks for your time :)
Got me a Hawkgirl today! Happy, happy days!:)
Also decided I should open some of my other MOSC ladies...
Coupla baddies, coupla goodies.
Star Sapphire looks awesome! Always had a thing for her :o Hawkgirl is mighty impressive too...
I got Hal in the mail today...

Nice mate. I read John Stewart and Katma Tui are gunna be in wave 11. I have a John already but can't wait for Katma.
I'd also kill the population of a small country for an Arisia figure.

Scored the sexy and promiscuous Nightwing in a mutually beneficial trade with The Scream Man.
Mr Terrific and the DCU's answer to the Hobbits in the Golden Age Atoms there from a private sale.

Well I had sliced his package open to sly out the BAF part but I finally removed my old friend, Kent Nelson, from his plastic prison.
And now that I have Fate, The Spectre, The Atom and Hawkman I think I'll focus on finishing the initial line-up of the World's first ever super team.

He looks great Digger! I've been eyeing him off too.
Well she's technically not part of the DC Universe although she still is a DC property and the first Watchmen figure I've opened since obtaining all the figures in the line.
It now gives me great pleasure to humbly present to you...
the magnificent...
If I didn't have enough to collect, I've also jumped on the DC Super Heroes/DC Universe Classics bandwagon.
I loved the sculpts and variety of characters they've picked plus I'm more of a DC fanboy than a Marvel one. Never dug the Marvel Legends line and regard this toyline as better IMHO.
Bought these in the last month or so....

Starting a Batman action figure collection from different toylines and storylines :)
Oh also picked up the clearance Iron Man toys at Target at $15, I couldn't resist. Got a poor mans version of the Hot Toys Mark III :P

Sweet TPN. Russian Batman is cool hey?
I have him and the Russian Supes and WW as well.
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1...iawithlove.jpg
Yeah, DD, couldn't wait to get him out of the packet.
Even got the bomb detanator in his hand :) Russkie Bats was a bad ass. Mark Millar's stuff can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but I loved the Red Son story.
I wouldn't mind getting the rest of the figures in that Elseworld's storyline.
If you're looking for another really, really cool Batman figure you can't go past Bats from the Batman and Son line of figures. So awesome. Toys shouldn't be made this cool.
Yeah I'm starting to form a Batman action figure collection, like I said from different story arcs and toylines.
I like each Batman figure to have a unique sculpt or characteristic. Each one is different and special to me for various reasons. However, repaints like Kenners Batman toylines and the outright stupid figs from Legends Of The Batman e.g. Pirate Batman (WTH???) are no-no's.
My top wants are Thrillkiller Batman and Legends of the Batman Dark Knight.
E.g. JLI's Batman reminds of a totally different, almost satirical send up by Keith Griffen (whose early issues gave me much laughs before it got ridiculous).
Batman & Son would be another Batman figure I'd like, as would be the Batman through the Ages boxset as I loved also the Superfriends and Golden Age Batman. Brings back so many memories of reading comics and Saturday morning cartoons.
Was thinking of doing the same for Iron Movie figures now Target is selling them for $8 but I've had to control myself lol.
On a side note, got this in the mail today.... Sweet!!!! :D

Got it from DVDCrave at $26.20, dealt with them before on numerous times and can thoroughly recommend them.

Totally agree. There are many aspects of Marvel that I love, but I'm definitely a bigger DC fan! And this DCUC line is second only to MOTUC in terms of sculpt, articulation and quality IMO.
Where did you get this Batman? I've seen it a few times on different toy sites, and I love it!!
Yeah, I bought a few of these bits and pieces for my nephews... I got the Invincible Iron Man pack for $20, which is basically Repulsor Iron Man with accessories... jet pack, guns, etc...
MOTUC, don't get me started on those. Would have loved to get these but missed the boat :( The prices on Ebay are a killer and staying up to when the item is available for sale, annoys me as those the subscription service. Another childhood favourite third only to Transformers. Second for me was Super Powers and fourth probably M.A.S.K.
Love DCUC as pays homage to classic and current versions of characters in a Super Powers kinda of way without the gimmicky super power function.
This is from Series One of the recently released JLI action figures celebrating Kevin McGuires run on JLA/JLI. I got mine at a local comic shop, Kings Comics in Sydney. He does have arms underneath the cape but the figure itself doesn't have much poseability.
That said, it's perfect as it is because it is indicative of the character in the series. The brooding Dark Knight in a comical series is such a juxtaposition (you know what I mean :))
Found a set on Ebay:

I was going to get that as well but too many accessories and stuff to store. I'm happy with the lone figure.
Don't give up on MOTUC! reissues are starting in October with He-man then Skeletor!
Since scoring Hawkgirl from The Dirty Digger I had to pull out a my DCUC favs for a quick photo.... and just in case you're wondering, the Martian Manhunter is a custom WIP, made from the upper body of Savage Dragon, the lower body of HML Captain Ameria, the cape from DCSH Supes and some other bits and pieces. I doubt I'll get him finished before they release one, but he'll do for a stand in for now.

Great pic!!! There's a couple of figures there that I don't have yet! They all look great together.
You have excellent taste!
Thanks for that! :) I love how he's wrapped in his cape... perfect!
Dc toys as promise these are from way back in 1998 toys kept em for a while only DC i have left

Opened the seedy looking b@$+@rd on the left today. These are how real variants should be done, not just an easy repaint.
Because these guys came with the same BAF piece I do now have a spare left arm for Giganta if anyone needs or wants it.
Great figures there TDD. Totally agree with you about this is how to do variants!
Nice stuff DD! Do you have a DCSH Darkseid or any Darkseid for that matter? I thought about getting a few of each Parademon variants for any army, but that may be a pipe dream lol
Yep got the DCSH Darkseid. I wanted to pose him with them but he's packed away till we move again in September. I'm actually thinking even though he's relatively tall for the line he will be a little short for what he truly should be.
where have u guys been buying them from ?
local ebay or states ?
Both... most of the DCUC figs I've been after never saw a release in Australia, so I've found it's actually been cheaper buying O/S rather than buying locally (because they jack the price up by saying "item is rare")! I've bought quite a few from China too!
Also from BBTS today....
