a thought just occured to me - people who collect figma should watch more anime :)
it would feel weird to collect transformers and not have read/watch any of it - otherwise the toy is just a pretty piece of plastic that has no background :/

and wow i just can't keep up with the figma line, they make way too many to fit in any budget i have.

so at the moment im waiting on kos-mos to arrive and then hoping they do another run of the BRS characters.

Heh, I did collect Transformers before the show aired back in '84.

I got LeLouch before seeing Code Geoss, Drossel after seeing Fireball. I just tend to grab whichever characters appeal to me regardless of the show.

Completionism... If I like a line or show enough I might get a couple of 'duds' to round it off. I have a few Fate and Strikers characters but I don't think I want to get all of them... Seems odd/annoying that Shinji always gets left out of Evangelion releases too.

There is a completionist aspect to what I collect I guess - Binaltech, Alternity, Alternators, Masterpiece... Way too many Valkyries too.

Quite shocking how many Figmas I've acquired over the last month or so. :o:eek:

it wouldnt sell well and would mostly be bought up by scalpers trying to rip off people on ebay only to realise nobody wants him.

thought it would be pretty cool for figmas.

Saw something like that made for Kamen Rider figures when I was at the 2009 Tokyo Toy Fare. Wasn't too impresive then, but those ones on the Danny Choo link looked much much better.

Managed to bag a Couple more of my 'long time ago released' figmas from Mandarake, which means I don't have to worry except for new pre-orders! Pretty good price too.

I had these 2 figmas arrive today :D

I have Dragon Knight, Wing knight, Siren, Axe. here
in the mail I have Strike (might be here end of june) Torque and Scissors (July I think) Thrust, Sting, Spear and Camo all end of this week or next week lol

I dont see the appeal of riders - figma or other lines. they remind me too much of power rangers
