This page suggests being rebuilt into UM was one of 3 possible scenarios for Dion's fate so I guess it's your turn Fraser... :)

WTF?! Dude... it says "Some fans believe he may have died, while others believe he was rebuilt into Ultra Magnus or Ironhide." - i.e.: this is NOT official canon from the G1 cartoon (or anywhere) - just some speculation that some fans thought up of. Officially we don't know what Dion's fate was.

:)Nice easy one, who did the Dinobots have their first major fight with after(I think) their upgrade. This could be interpreted in different ways but I am thinking of a particular large Transformer here;).
