If anyone has Generations Chromia and CHUG Wreck-gar, can they tell me if they are around the same size in bike mode or is one quite bigger than the other?

Anyone know what the best option at this point is for me to pick up a TFCC 2016 Skywarp and Ramjet?
BBTS sometimes has Club toys.
Ebay is an option, as the membership toys can sometimes go cheap.
Otherwise, take a chance with the club store's shipping rates if you are a member... and if one hasn't sold out if you wanted to buy both at the same time (if they are available at different times).
I will have to order the Skywarp from the Club Store (and the other items expected later in the year), and would be doing a group order when it gets released. If there is enough interest I could buy items as they are released, otherwise I will wait until they are all released (to save postage) and just risk missing out on something (and look for it on ebay).
Wreckgar is a lot bigger in bike mode...

I was watching Family guy the other day and had noticed how one of the Transformers in the Negatron cutaway gag was Barrage who had never appeared in the G1 cartoon so I was wondering, which G1 characters have appeared in other cartoons, but not in the G1 cartoon?
So given Hasbro and Takara have had some Masterpiece toys release with different paint jobs, would it be a bad thing to use the Takara versions as the intended character, but rechristen the two Hasbro ones, along with Acid Storm, as the rainmakers?
I think Imma do that :)
Edit: ok so clearly a quick google search shows plenty of peeps have long thought of the same thing... it validates my thoughts then!
Sunstorm has always been the Yellow Rainmaker to me. Technically they're two separate characters, but I don't care, in the Gokiverse they are one and the same!
I just wish that the blue Rainmaker had been given a name ending with "storm" to maintain consistency -- at least with Acid Storm (who is officially a Rainmaker), if not Sunstorm. I would've loved to have seen "Blizzard Storm." I suspect that being a blue Seeker, he'd look too similar to Thundercracker for HasTak's liking to justify making this toy.
How do I get the Transformers Collectors Club Exclusives Marvel MP Ratbat without being a member? Is this something BBTS might be carrying?
Eh, I just looked at the wiki which had said that the other two rainmakers were named via "Ask Vector Prime" sometime last year, so that's enough reason for me to keep Takara MP Sunstorm as Sunstorm, and the Hasbro one in my imagined Rainmaker trio.
Incidentally, I didnt realise how many bloody MP seeker releases there have now been! - and I dont have them all since I dont have the Hasbro MP3 molds.
So counting the G1 coloured MP3 Hasbro Screamer and the Jap release of that toy as one, and doing the same for Eastern and Western Acid Storm releases, that makes it FIFTEEN recoloured/retooled MP Seekers
And I own 11 of them - Imma have set up a flying armada!
Dilemma time.... Of the first world problem kind
I got the Uw combiners (except Devy) but have kept them sealed due to Hasbro sorting the 5th Limbs out to childhood standards.... And Optimus was already done by Hasbro too
But now I have Grand Galvatron.... To open or not to open? And if I open Galvy, should I open the rest?
Thrust? Not done yet....
And sold out.... So eBay?
Are eBay sellers allowed to change their postage costs mid auction?'
Just I put a bid on a Titanium Jetfire and got the notice today I had won it. However the postage is nearly $30US and I don't remember it being that much when I put on my bid a week ago.
I'm assuming since you mentioned USD it is in fact an overseas auction.
When a listing is active, you can check revision on the page, not sure if thats the case after its finished.
One thing is misleading is in the search results, some/all/(not sure exactly) auctions display domestic postage below the current price, and it's not until you inspect the auction page itself proper that the international price to you shows up.
Dunno if that matters at all to you here, but it catches people out.
Otherwise ask ebay to check perhaps
Seen this happen quite a number of times. Also not sure if this is all the time as well but I most recently noticed this on a Transformers #1 CGC comic from USA. It was showing at around $19 shipping on my search page and shows the same number on my watch page but when I clicked into the actual listing shipping was about US$75!! The actual sold price on bid was pretty much just a bit more than it would have cost to ship to Australia and no it wasn't me who won it as I left that auction well alone!
I find for me the eBay search pages show US shipping and it isn't until I go onto the individual listing page do I get the correct shipping for my location.
The other thing that might have happened is that they have it going through the global shipping program which whacks shipping on top.
Have you msg'd the seller to see what's going on?
Can anyone read Japanese?
http://www.dvandom.com/tv/ax.GIF
Apologies for the size. It's the largest (only) version I can find.
A few of us can, but you'll need a bigger image than that. Japanese characters can be pretty intricate, and changing just one part of a given character can change its meaning entirely.
That image is small/low-resolution enough that メインブリッジ "Main Bridge" looks pretty much the same as メインフリッジ "Main Fridge", and that's one of the larger text sections.
You might be out of luck on this one I'm afraid.:(
I remember that, because I was wishing there was one done for the Ark as well.
What was it it from?
Did the G2 Combaticons come with stickers? If so, are they any different (especially colour-wise) from the stickers for the G1 Combaticons?
Google image search not helpful.
I'm online friends with the guy who's hosting that image. I'll ask him if he can supply me with a higher res scan.
And ask where it is from, in case someone here has it but isn't aware of it, or has forgotten. (I have quite a few US & JP books and guidebooks, so I want to see if I actually have it somewhere in my bookshelves)
Bad news, he no longer has the book (TV Magazine January 1998)
It should look like this. Otherwise I wonder if the Beast Wars Encyclopaedia might also have it.
A couple of google searches, I came across this version of it tweeted by TFWiki back in 2014 (right-click and view both images for a big enough image to read the Japanese text), which is the same cut-away image, but with a different layout around it... so it might have been re-printed in another Japanese publication some time later.
Best to ask the TFWiki people about its exact origin (they only note it as being from a guidebook) as I couldn't find the images on the actual TFWiki site.
That is much clearly (and importantly, legible). :) I don't have time to do translations now, but perhaps Odie, Tets or any other Japanese speaking members might like to have a crack.
I'm knda short on time atm as well...sorry Verno.:(
Decisions, decisions:
Fortress Maximus... my son wants a big city Transformer. HK ani-con is coming up and the SDCC exclusives should be available there and I think there will be an SDCC version too (?).
So my question is: which city-former do I get him?
The new Hasbro titans Returns Fort Max? the SDCC version?
Or do I try and find an older city-former - Metroplex?
He wants big and highly playable with his other bots.
We have Trypticon... and now my son wants one of the even bigger guys.
What's going to be the biggest and best bot with a "reasonable" price tag?
Get whichever is easiest and most affordable for you to get.
