Now calling attention of Mayza Prime, mate any news on licencing for ACT ?
Apologies if this has been asked before (tried to search the thread but couldn't find any definite results) but what's the deal with orange barrel plugs in Aus?
I know all about the replica gun licence requirements etc. and that's all fine, but is there anything in any of our state legislation requiring the blaze orange plugs on these or is that purely a US thing?
I know it's not required in Japan and Megs won't come with one installed out of the factory (US sites are all stating they'll be opening the package to glue the plug in) but will PC have to do the same here in Australia? I've already pre-ordered mine last nigh (pissed off with myself because I totally forgot about PC's 10% discount code they FB'd a few weeks ago) but just curious as to whether PC will need to install the orange plugs in these to comply with local rules?
I picked up Apollyon from TFDirect and pretty sure he came with the orange plug (which was easily removed) In hindsight that was kind of weird but I didn't think about it. Are the orange plugs a thing in Aus as well?
The orange plug is irrelevant here - its the overall look of the gun that determines it's realism, since the orange plug can be painted over.
The removable orange plug is an idea to conform/sneak by US laws without ruining the toy.
